On draft at the brewery taproom, in tall pint glass
Clear medium dark golden in color, with foamy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Mild toasty caramel malt flavor. Slightly sweet but more balanced finish. Medium bodied.

Available in a can at the 5280 burger bar.
The look is quite sexy. A dark amber with a light haze to it. And a 2+ finger very rocky head even poured into a standard pint glass. Major lacing, beautiful.
The smell however is a bit vague. What is there is quite nice, malty and almost a creamy sweetness. Not very hoppy but that's what I'd expect here. Other than the vagueness, it's very up my alley.
Taste follows the smell, bit with a bit more going on here, which I appreciate. Some hops coming through, mostly for a light bitterness, but some hop flavor is here as well. Pretty subtle on the hops however. It's not super obvious ots a lager, which is pretty impressive, but it has the smoothness of one, just without any of the off flavors. Quite good.
Feel is creamy in the mouth from the head, but it's easy to put down, refreshing but full bodied at the same time with a decent malt bill here. Very good.
Overall a great malt bill, nice and sweet and caramely without being heavy or overbearing. Light bitterness and a very good looker. Almost would call it a British brown, but it's a lager. Traditional amber beer flavor here no weird flavors or ingredients. Just a good Fargo lager.

Stamped canned on 2 Sept 21. No best buy date.
LOOK: Pours a copper amber color with a prominent ight tan head that demonstrates excellent retention and side glass lace.
AROMA: Sweet bread (breakfast cake) malts, a little caramel.
TASTE: As Lagers go this one is malt generous, as the subtle sweet bread malts are most noticeable.
Easy drinking flavorful Amber Lager.

A: red, not quite ruby, short lived white head, lightly carbonated.
S: the nose is very marzen-like. Smooth and malty.
T: bready, slightly bitter.
M: medium light body (not thin) with a tangy/tingly feeling on the tongue.
O: overall an easy drinking beer, albeit not truly sessionable.

Trying this again under the new name and yeah this is still really mid to me. Light to thin mouthfeel, the back of the box describes this as actually being a Vienna Lager and idk. It fails at that. Not undrinkable or anything, probably good on this one for the rest of my days though. I rated this in April but I'm having this now in December 2021.
It is getting better on the taste and everything as I have another but the feel is still just eh for me. I think this is actually by far my least favorite thing from here besides princess yum yum unfortunately

Feels like the flavor is great up front but fades quickly, but good beer!

Another in the mix of beers from #2. Fun! Many thanks.
canned on 3/16/20.
Definitely an amber in appearance. Full off white head. Lots and lots of bubbles rising from the bottom of my Sam Adams glass. A little more malty than I expected and not showing a whole lot of hops yet. Similar to a Vienna lager in aroma.
Light body and a clean lager feel. Hops show in soft bittering on the finish and they linger a good long while. Full carbonation lends a soft fullness in an otherwise appropriately thinner feel. A nice little bite in the early presentation - not sure if it's carbonation or hops, but I like it.
This is nice. Reminds me of Schell's Firebrick, although I may like this one a bit more.
"Pairs with Gemutlichkeit" Indeed.
