Notes:
Like a campfire in a glass, this robust beauty has seductive notes of vanilla, smoked cedar, and mulling spices on the nose. A dark pour with mild lacing, she is a rollercoaster of lush chocolate and fig fruits diving into a semi-dry finish of toast and biscuit.

Denver Beer Co. "Graham Cracker Porter"
$8 / pint on tap @ Timberline Steaks & Grille, Denver, CO
Notes: Black in the full pint with ruby highlights when held to the light. Short head of tan foam. Decent enough head retention and lacing. Aroma of graham crackers and chocolate. It suggests brown sugar, vanilla, chocolate, and golden caramel. Not surprisingly, it tastes very much like it smells. It's more chocolatey but the brown sugar and vanilla remain. It's moderately bitter but balanced, and it finishes mostly dry and lingering. It's medium bodied and gently crisp-then-smooth. Overall I'm quite impressed with this. It's got enough Graham cracker character that it could serve as a dessert beer, and at the same time not so much that you couldn't have two or three of these in a row just hanging out with your friends.

LOOK: Pours black with some brown hues with a light brown tight head. Retention is decent as is the glass lace.
AROMA: Pretty sweet, also get some graham cracker, followed by coffee, and chocolate milk.
TASTE: Still sweet, chocolate milk more prominent in the taste than the graham crackers.
Overall too sweet for my pallet.

LOOK: Pours black with some brown hues with a light brown tight head. Retention is decent as is the glass lace.
AROMA: Pretty sweet, also get some graham cracker, followed by coffee, and chocolate milk.
TASTE: Still sweet, chocolate milk more prominent in the taste than the graham crackers.
Overall too sweet for my pallet.

This does indeed have a graham cracker nose, with a hint of milk chocolate. However, first taste is quite bitter and either ashy or woody.
Its cola feel is tingly crisp with a medium body that finishes semi-dry and kind of stinging, like cacao nib but more acidic and bitter, closer to burnt wood.

Its cola feel is tingly crisp with a medium body that finishes semi-dry and kind of stinging, like cacao nib but more acidic and bitter, closer to burnt wood.

Definitely solid, malty and overall what I was looking for. However I'm not sure I'd get another sixer in the foreseeable future. So many others to try.
UPDATE: had this on tap recently and was a much better experience for some reason than the 6 pack I had, got some good sweet vanilla amd Graham cracker flavor. This was way better this time so I'm upping rating

I had high hopes. Nice dark color, sweet aroma.
The flavor is all sugar, with a weird industrial nut oil and vanilla adjunct. Cloyingly sweet, although I can see the graham cracker comparison.

In the smell, a lot, but a lot, of cocoa and vanilla.
Same for the taste. A bit too sweet, almostr pastry. But not bad.

T: The taste follows the smell, although the graham crackers are stronger than those of the vanilla. Notes of dark malts are also perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is a lit more flavorful than other porters with all of the graham crackers in the malt bill.

Presentation: 12 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a Rastal Craft Master Grand.
Appearance: The pale tan, two finger head stays around for a while and leaves behind a lot of lacing that covers the entire glass. It's a deep, dark brown, almost black color.
Smell: It's a warm and sweet scent of graham crackers, milk chocolate, brown sugar and a hint of coffee.
Taste: There's some bready, graham cracker at first and a hint of milk chocolate and sugary marshmallow. It finishes with an almost imperceptible hint of bitterness in the background of dark chocolate and roasted malt.
Mouthfeel: It's smooth, slightly creamy and medium to light bodied so it stays easy to drink. Carbonation is medium, it's not cloying at all and it finishes dry.
Overall A rich, easy to drink porter that's sweet but not in an overwhelming way. There's balance between the different elements and the 12 oz. can serving size is just right.

Now I wouldn't even have picked this up, had I not found the opportunity to sample it on tap at a bar in Vail. But I did, and I was severely impressed, so I picked it up about three times this winter.
Now, as promised, this porter absolutely tastes like graham cracker... but I like it.
L: Super dark body for the ABV. Thin consistency, as expected, but dark like an imperial coffee stout. A faint cola red glow graces the edges of the body, but it is otherwise opaque. A fine khaki head leaves lots of speckled lacing across the pint glass.
S: Smells clean and simple, like toasted wheat bread, but there's a sawdusty dryness to it, like a hint of pretzel, and a clean woody aroma, with just the slightest hint of brown rice syrup. (FYI, I'm going very far out of my way to describe this aroma as something other than graham crackers.)
T: Let's face it. This tastes like charred oat bran muffins, pretzels and graham crackers. But somehow it's really nice. Lots of toasty bread and woody notes. Extremely minimal sweetness. Comforting.
F: Light and soft, with an ashy finish. As crushable as any dark beer could possibly be. Way better than Black Butte Porter.
O: And so much tastier than a graham cracker. Highly recommended. A-
