Dropped in here on 8/14. The grand opening was on 8/12, so it's only been here for a few days.
Looks like a large converted auto garage. There are several picnic tables out front, about 15 or so smaller tables inside, and a large L-shaped bar on the inside. The garage doors can be rolled up and down to make the whole place as indoors or outdoors as needed depending on the weather. All of the decor is pretty new, and is a combination of wood and metal. Looks kind of like the neo-industrial look you see in a lot of the fast casual places. They have some amusing goat and chicken paintings on the walls, too.
On this day they had a pale ale, rye pale, IPA, graham cracker porter, and a "summer" stout. I didn't really care for the IPA as I'm not really a fan of the swampy "dank" IPAs out there, but everything else was good, maybe even better than that. The graham cracker porter was unique and tasted exactly like it sounds. The rye pale had a ton going on for something so mild, as did the "normal" pale, and the stout was a solid stout that was flavorful without being heavy. They also have a kaffir lime wheat that had just run out and is due to be replaced/alternated with a pomegranate wheat. Of the beers I tried, the graham cracker porter spoke to me quite a bit. It's a little like a vanilla porter, but with all of the character of real grahams (the use 'em in the brew) without being overly sweet or cloying.
The beers were good and the atmosphere was fun. Plus, it works well with the neighborhood, too.
If you want a snack they don't serve meals, but they do have large pretzels that are Bavarian-like, but different enough to be unique. They did smell nice, though!
Prices were definitely a hair steep. Worth it, sure...but still a bit pricier than similar other spots. Just a point of warning!
I like the place and I wish them well. The beers were solid and I'd say the only thing they'll have to be wary of is the heavy competition in mid-town. If they can keep things the way they are I think I'll have another regular stop downtown...especially with the light rail stop moving closer to this area.

EDIT: After being open for (roughly) a year, DBC is still doing well. There have been some definite misses along the way, but quite a few hits, too. Graham Cracker Porter is a full-on world class beer, but nothing else is quite at that level. Plus, when something is bad, it tends to be REALLY bad.
Service has gotten better, but still is still not quite up to par with most other places. At the same time, they do tend to pull larger crowds which probably affects that.
I do enjoy the hell out of the vibe. I like their mini biergarten, and people are always having a good time there.

Visited 8 craft breweries in the Denver area and this was my favorite. Great vibe. Beer selection was decent but the ones available were excellent. Service was decent/average but nothing to detract from the quality of beer

V-Denver Beer Co. has a medium sized indoor/outdoor layout with a good patio and lots of community tables. The bar is in the center of the joint with some brewing equipment behind and to the side. There is also a barrel area in another room...I'm not sure what its like in there. The place is close to Denver's Central Business District and its always crowded with a mostly younger crowd.

Q-I've never had a DBC beer that blows me away, but most are drinkable. The Graham Cracker Porter is above-average (especially on tap), their IPA (Incredible Pedal) is so-so, and the Belgian pale ale that I tried last night was above average too. I've had some losers from DBC, but most of their beers are serviceable.

Ser-I have had a hard time getting great service here. It is sometimes slow (owing to the crowds, mostly) and last night the bar tender was just, um, kind of a jerk. I have had a few visits with people here who know what they are brewing, but that has been a while.

Sel-The beer selection is broad in terms of style, with everything from a barleywine to an IPA to a porter on offer last night. I have never seen a guest tap here.

O-The Denver BAs give DBC a hard time for various reasons. The bad rep is somewhat deserved, but there are worse beer joints in town and patio is good people watching.
