Bottle obtained around Thanksgiving at brewery. Poured into ale glass.
L: Pour results in 3 finger foamy head with decent retention. Beer is cloudy medium brown.
S: Roasted malts up front, lots of spice including cinnamon, allspice, cloves.
T: Malt profile first, with pumpkin/squash, pumpkin pie spices. Very little alcohol evident.
F: Pretty well-balanced, medium body, not much carbonation. A little drying on finish.
O: One of the better fall spice beers. Kane never disappoints.

Looks a gorgeous amber orange. Smells a beautiful autumnal bouquet with a touch of burn. Mouthfeel is moderate and welcomed.
The taste though. First sip... You can taste.root vegetables to the max. They are obviously prepared well to the boil as they exhibit thier own dankness. Thing is, I think there is a Simcoe overload here. The root vegetables receive an upstaging from piss cake which kind of.lets me down. I'd like to take another stab at this with "drier" hop additions
