This is a review for a beer from my local brewery, sampled on June 29 from a can dated June 21. As soon as I popped open the can, I was greeted by a wave of hop aromas. It was clear this wasn't a typical pale ale, nor was it priced like one - perhaps that's why it's named as such?
The beer had a hazy appearance and it felt like I was drinking a New England India Pale Ale (NEIPA), given its similarity in aroma and look. It had a billowing, frothy, white head, suggestive of a well-crafted brew.
The flavor was exceptionally balanced. The Citra hops shone through, showing what they can truly offer. It was perhaps the best low alcohol by volume (ABV) pale ale I've ever had, clocking in at a manageable 5.4%.
The West Coast influence was clear in its grain profile. This beer definitely pushed the boundaries of what one could expect from a traditional pale ale, making for an exciting and satisfying drinking experience.

5.4% pale ale by Kane Brewing Company
Poured front a pint can, the body is a hazy gold with small initial head and good lacing throughout the tasting.
Aroma features a dank citrus.
Body provides a lighter citrus flavor than the nose. Tart. A malt backbone is present, but the ale isn't overly malty. A light hoppy bite mid-swallow with an easy finish that nicely dries up the hop bite.
Good carbonation and mouthfeel.

A slightly thin body with below average carbonation.
Aroma is citrus peel with a little fruit, grass, earthy, bitter hops
Taste has a mild sweetness with an equally mild hop finish otherwise it stay close to the aroma.
Overall it wasn't what I was expecting from a pale ale but nonetheless it was very flavorful and well done

Took a stab at local. A decent beer as I was parched. Mid-range hop flavor but thicker than I was looking for.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 7/25/22, so a month old.
Looks pretty good, thick pale orange juice body. Strong white head eventually shrinks to a fat collar and covering, leaving sheets of lacing.
Hoppy aroma.
On tasting, soft, light, a touch of dankness, which was unexpected.
Mouth closer to full than medium, finish dry and faintly herbal.
Overall, decent if slightly odd pale ale.

Aroma is grass and earth. Taste is similar with a mix of lemon. Feel is medium carbonation. Overall, I've heard a lot about this beer recently. It's not exactly what I was expecting. It's good, but just has very different notes than I'm used to. Solid offering worth a try.

Great full flavor for a Pale Ale. Definitely my “go to” brew when down the shore!

(16 oz can, canned on 04/26/21; purchased single off shelf... poured into my Belhaven pub pint)
L: foam fizzing of the can upon pop; milky-hazy, pale yellow-amber liquid; huge foam build on the pour, a glossy, rocky sponge... the head fails, leaving little collar or lace
S: fleshy pineapple rind, underlying orange, fruited muffin malt poking through a little... fruit-forward, but with a floral as opposed to juicy overtone
T: orange-pineapple heavy, with a back-end floral, tonic bitterness... the cakey-ness of the malt starts to wear on me third sip in, however, the underbelly is relatively cut dry, if resin-slicked, giving enough balance... intense, nectar-esque, yet muddy expressions... the stunning, almost ginger-like, pungent-bitter spice humming in the aftertaste stokes immediate return
F: milky sort of roundness and viscosity right out the gate... the aforementioned bracing hum stunning the tongue builds and builds, eventually firing up an inflammatory thirst
O: a slightly toned-down NEIPA sort of thing, and a good one at that... I'd been bemoaning Citra with Mosaic lately, and I think the Mosaic is the antagonist in that partnership... this has a tasty personality that begs to be sharpened and cleaned... despite its high price tag (4.49), I could see this growing on me, especially given its manageable abv (1785)

From a can provide by a friend dated 05/12/21. Sampled June 13, 2021.
The look is a slightly cloudy yellow under a long lasting white head.
The aroma comes across as fresh re\ally with grassy hops, white bread, and grain.
Light-medium mouthfeel.
A freshness withy the taste and grainy and crispy hops. Nothing spectacular here but quite easy drinking.
