Party Wave is brewed with a blend of four hops; Galaxy, Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra throughout the process. Flavors of passion fruit and citrus from the heavy use of Galaxy and Citra and more subtle pine and tropical fruit from the Mosaic and Simcoe blend well with a simple malt bill of Pilsner, Wheat and Low Crystal.

Decanted from a 16 oz (355 ml) can into a Kane snifter; canned on 04/11/18 and purchased at the brewery.
A: Pours a nearly opaque, golden orange color with a one half inch white head, little retention, but some soapy lacing.
S: Broad set of fruit aromas with elements of nectarine, mango, and orange, notable for the scent of pine and actual mint leaves.
T: Drinks very grainy and resiny at first with orange citrus and papaya becoming more evident as it warms. Malts hard to distinguish under all that fruit. Solid piney bitterness appropriate for the style. Tingling aftertaste.
M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Creamy.
O: A nicely constructed and well made NE-style IPA. Certainly on a par with Tree House Sap or Trillium Mettle.

Aroma is pine, citrus fruit and peel, grass and a bit earthy.
Taste is similar to aroma with bitterness being subdued but the citrus lingers .
A very good beer from an excellent brewery

16oz can served in a Kane tulip. Dated 09-08-21. Received from @MacMalt in NBS BIF #14.

Pours a hazy brassy yellow color with a fairly small head. Smell is super juicy -- orange pith and orange zest and a little bit of tropical something.

Taste is right up my alley. Follows the same profile but is less juicy than the aroma, more resinous and tending toward bitterness but still keeping the fruit characteristics.

Mouthfeel is medium and fairly smooth, maybe the slightest hint of a chalky texture. Overall, this is very good.

a: super hazy mixture of orange and matte yellow. 1 finger, slightly rocky, solid white head

s: tons of simcoe in the nose. onions, garlic, grapefruit and creamsicle ice cream. sweet lemon, orange juice, and orange zest. some dank grass and sweet caramel malts. a hint of peach and blueberry cobbler at the backend. finish is earthy and some grapefruit

t: follows the nose. the onion, garlic, and dank grass dominate the initial taste. orange juice, passionfruit, and peach cobbler behind that. some sweet lemons and a very small hint of sweet grains. a bit of tea leaf towards the back of this as well along with some dry crackers

m: super fluffy mouthfeel that is on the fuller side of medium. low carbonation. spot-on mouthfeel

o: this one is a Simcoe & Galaxy bomb. earthy with some tropical elements, but mostly earthy. tasty and well-balanced for the style
