L - dark, oxidized mango juice. Sticky head. Thick haze.

S - lemon and peach. Spicy grapefruit rind. Very doughy. Gentle melon and oat bitterness.

T - grapefruit jam smothered atop toasted white bread. Zesty, bitter onion dominates. Beneath all the tang and twang resides sweet peach creamsicle fullness in flavor, thanks to the oats. Finish is prickly and spicy.

F - silky and full-bodied. Great way to smooth out the flavor profile.

O - loads of balance and also contrast between the oniony zest and fruity jams. Each sip leaves something new to be discovered.

Fresh growler.

Pours hazy orange with a white head.

The nose and taste are sweet peach, some kiwi, and faint malt. Medium minus bitterness.

The mouthfeel is medium. Typical Kane IPA feel.

Overall, very good. Just a notch below Party Wave.

Pours a hazy medium straw color with a 2 finger billowy white head. Huge dank hop aroma with tons of tropical fruit: pineapple, mango, guava. Taste follows nose, lots of tropical fruit, great dank flavor. Minimal bitterness. Carbonation is great. Overall a fantastic IPA, reminds me of Alchemest Crusher. Just a delicious IPA, could easily drink a case of this.

A: Has the haziness and opaqueness of peach nectar. Head is quite poor with not much lacing.

S: Bears the traits of sweet + sour citrus a la pomelo, tangerine, and kumquat. Tropical fruit melange of fleshy mango and pineapple. Earthy traits of mint and pine.Aims for a certain panache, but ends with the pastiche of a Christmas melaange.

M: Bitter on the edges, soft semi-soft underbelly. Lingering dryness. Med body and a low-med bitterness.

T/O: A NEIPA thru-and-thru with the oats, cloudiness, and juicy fruit one expects. A tropical marinade forms as a medley of mango, orange, papaya. The dichotomy meanders thru a blackberry field with bees buzzing from sepal to stamen-aromas of grassiness and earthiness released. Lingering notes of guava-inspired strawberry-banana: a grainy tartness accentuating a robust yet sweet and bready malt...to the limit; and, creates what I guess could be characterized as a hybrid NEnglandIPA (both the region and the country). Classical malt withe the pizazz of dry hop additions.

Can to wine glass. Much more substantial portion this time (this is actually my 3rd 16oz. can of a 4-pack), so getting a better chance to enjoy some of the nuances of this beer and the rating is subsequently on the rise. 3.97 to .

LOOK: hazy and cloudy dark yellow. big foamy off-white head with excellent retention.

AROMA: pineapple and grass as previously noted. other tropical fruit like mango and kiwi show up also. touch of grapefruit. strength of aroma=8/10, quality of aroma=9/10

TASTE: mostly tropical fruit with some grapefruit mixed in. slight hints of grass, pine, wood
strength of taste=8/10, quality of taste=8/10

FEEL: medium body, but very drinkable. touch of creaminess. carbonation seems a little weak, but the I think it's just the medium body which prevents it from being too bubbly and results in the creamy head and small bubbles. There is a slight astringency.

Excellent Beer. I am really enjoying this again. I think it might be my 2nd favorite Kane "IPA/APA" (after Ripple). Blue Hotel was pretty good too, we'll see how the number pan out.

Poured from can an orangish gold. Expected haziness with good head that dissipated. Citrus juicey aroma that maintains bitterness throughout on tougne but no harsh after taste.

Got in a BIF from MacMalt. 16 ounce can into signature tulip glass, canned on 3/8/2018. Pours opaquely hazy medium orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, white grape, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, bread dough, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, white grape, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, bread dough, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, white grape, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, bread dough, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is nice. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.4%. Overall this is an amazing NE IPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Great soft mouthfeel for the style. A little too heavy on the biscuity Golden Promise malt character, but it's not overly sweet. Intensely juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank hop complexity; balanced bready malts. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

On tap at the scene of the crime in a stemmed tulip glass.

Dense and hazy frosted orange color with a 1F white fluffy top, good retention, wisp and spot lacing.

Tropical fruit and barley. Traces of citrus and onion, dank.

A light dose of citrus followed by the primary tropical flavors; mango and apricot. Backed up by dry malt and a touch of Head High pine.

Medium body, smooth and Juicy. Snappy hop bitterness.

Nice balance and fairly friendly 7.4% abv.

Real cloudy body, like natural orange juice almost. Nose is all hops, fruity, musky. Juicy, fruity, succulent hoppy flavor. Semi dry body. Hops linger on. This is a delicious IPA.

Look is lovely, hazy apricot with a solid amber head that dissipates reasonably with moderate lacing. Nose is richly malty with a heavy stone fruit backbone. very gentle. Crisp and well balanced, lemony/piney up front with a more tropical/apricot back end. Again, the shining star of the taste is balance, really remarkably well balanced IPA. Solid mouthfeel, definitely lets you know you are drinking a beer but clears off the palette reasonably. Strong IPA that I could see having very wide appeal. The balance is what I come back to, malty enough for English style lovers, hoppy enough for American converts. A real solid brew.

Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over a light to medium amber body with some sticky lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, citrus, and slight pine. Flavors follow aromas with a very soft middle followed by a bitter finish. Feel is good, and overall a real nice effort from those dudes from Ocean Twsp., NJ. Cheers!

Pours a murky medium burnt orange color with one finger of off white head and moderate carbonation evident. Lots of citrus hops, Fruity malts, some tropical fruits, oats. Medium body and low carbonation.

Another winner; well worth checking out.

I had this on draught at the brewery. 12 oz. pour served in a tulip glass. It pours a cloudy orange-apricot color with a frothy, milk-white head and elegant lacing. The smell is mostly fruity: tangerine and lemon, with a blend of hops, as well. The taste is complex and pleasing: there is tangerine and other citrus but also a honey or caramel sweetness, along with grass and a nice mix of hops, including the enigmatic Waimea. The hops are definitely present but there is little bitterness. This ale is medium-bodied with a fairly viscous mouth feel and pleasant carbonation. Although the ABV is a manageable 7.4% I felt some heat. Overall, this is an adventurous and truly satisfying American IPA. It has a great balance of sweetness and hoppy bitterness. It's not a bomb in any respect. It's simply a great drinking beer. Who would expect less from Kane?
