OK, moving on from Bourbon---> Cognac---> Cognac Vanilla.

Bottle to tulip glass.

The vanilla brings life back into this that the cognac muted. I do not think it is as good as the Bourbon barrel version, but very close. Cognac brings a sophistication that moves this away from breakfast/brunch in my eyes and more towards a dessert beer.

Another awesome variant from Kane.

L: Semi agressive pour yielding a tan 1.5 finger head that slowly disappeared leaving a thin tan ring
S: Vanilla and Cinnamon really stand out with maple and a touch of the cognac barrel in the background
T: Cognac and vanilla are the stars of this treat as the namesake would suggest. The coffee, maple and cinnamon are blended really well playing second fiddle
F: Kane's porters really tip toe the line between stout & porter. I've had stouts from other breweries much thinner than this but thankfully Kane knows the difference between both.
O: Yet another high end porter from Kane. The flavors are masterfully blended and the 500ml format make this approachable whenever you might be in the mood for a great beer

Pours very dark with a nice mocha head. Aroma is maple, cinnamon, some chocolate. Flavor is cinnamon, sweet maple, chocolate, vanilla on the finish. Barrel aging really melds the flavors and softens them up. Carbonation adds to a creamy texture. Overall this is my favorite of the 3 variants released this year.
