Atmosphere: The building is a shared use building, with a shared entry way with another business. Once you go through the internal entry way, you are greeted with a nice and inviting tap room. Well lit, nicely finished, and decently open. Beyond the initial tap room is a wide open brewing room, with tables to sit while you have beer, as well as another bar with a couple extra taps. This room is more utilitarian, and much cooler (temp), but they have some nice wood picnic tables, and some upright barrels. The barrels they use for aging beer are near the bar. The brewing equipment is roped off in one section.A really cool place to go, and a fun place to try beer

Quality: All the glassware and tasting trays are good quality, growlers available are quality swing tops, and the beer is top notch

Service: It can get busy, but you can always manage to get more beers at a reasonable pace at either bar.

Selection: 11 different brews on tap between the two bars (one is a nitro tap of a brew thats on regular tap as well). One beer available in bottles at this time, but that apparently varies based on what has been recently bottled. Merchandise available, and 1L and 2L growlers available (though not all taps are available for growler fills)

Food: None available, I suggest eating before you get there

Value: Reasonably priced, most growler fills were $7/$12, with a few being more expensive at $11/$20. I feel it is a good value for the quality you get

Overall: I think this is an excellent place to stop, especially since it is one of the best places to pick up beer from Kane. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking it out.

I Have been going to this local Brewery for a few years now. When I first went their tasting room was in what looked like a small office that they converted into a tap room. They have gone through a few expansions now and have begun canning their awesome IPA Head High. It is an exciting development as Jersey Breweries have left A LOT to be desired over the years.

They have really stepped up their game recently and I personally think they are producing some of the best stuff around. They have been experimenting with their HopLab Series. They have gained recognition for their Sunday Brunch and Mexican Brunch Dark beers, But they are producing some Stellar World Class Hop Centric brews.

In an induatrial park with limited signage for this brewery. Inside there is an upfront area for growlers and merch and then an inside area with the mash tubs and barrels they have tastings, full pour and flights as well. Beer setup and service is very good with lots of time to determine the right beers for you.
Love the picnic tables and barrel pub tables

Have visited 3 separate times in past 6 months to work up rating.

Brewery located at non-descript office park in Ocean Township, NJ, near the old Seaview Square Mall. Walk in the front and you think you're at a doctors office...and then you smell the beer. There is a small growler-filling area in the front area and the much larger back room holds the brewery equipment, a mountain of yet-to-be-filled Head High cans (June 2016, I am told), and the tasting area. There are a few picnic tables and benches to sit at as well as some barrels. Space fills up quickly. Guided tours of the brewery are on the hour.

V: Very strong, positive. Lots of beer fans of all ages. Brewery usually very crowded.

Q: Just top-notch beer of all varieties. I have never had a substandard one and they do take considerable risks stretching the limits.

Service: Knowledgeable and polite staff; they move you through quickly without being rushed. Growler fill process is quick.

Selection: Highly dependent on what's being brewed, but there's always Head High and Overhead and at least 3 and up to 10 more available for sampling. They will not do growler fills of some popular beers and that's something we have to live with. Sometimes they have bottles, most of which sell out quickly on bottle release days.

What are you waiting for? Go! Go now!

I try not to go to Kane during beach season, as traffic can be tough. That leaves me with about 8 months out of the year when I can get to Kane in just about an hour. Well worth the drive.
There are always new/different beers on tap in the tasting room. Long bar and attentive staff makes getting fills easy, even when busy.

Visiting Kane two weeks ago was part of a three brewery trip along the Jersey Shore. We started at Carton, Kane, then Little Dog. All three have entirely different atmospheres and feels.

Kane is a relatively large facility. You first walk through a small bar area where they sell merchandise, which leads into a larger warehouse setting with barrels abound on some walls from floor to ceilong, brewing vessels and a larger bar where they pour beers, fill growlers and offer flights. There's a fridge as well behind the bar for large format bottles they're selling that day. Picnic table style seating in the larger room is conducive to sharing a beer with friends or making new friends on the spot. Lines moved quickly, and I think it was even a little more crowded than usual this day due to the ANTEAD lottery pick up that was going on. Atmosphere is more industrial / warehouse type feel. If you're looking for a smaller, cozy setting this is not the place for you.

Perhaps it's a function of the size of the facility and the number of visitors but I felt the staff was a little disconnected from the audience. They were very busy this day and of course I would not expect someone behind the bar trying to serve 100 people to sit there and chit chat with me about the beer, but my impression was a slight disconnect from the customer.

Overall, good service, cool hang out spot, good beer, and good price for flights.
