Poured on tap into a half pint nonic glass at Odell's tasting room in Fort Collins. From notes.
A very opaque and pale amber body, with a combination of fast and slow rising carbonation, particularly on one edge. A light soft off white collar is presented, not too large, but inviting.
Nose has a light grainy sense, hints of flour. A perhaps mild herbal hop is peaking through.
Taste hits with a hop pine at first in the mid palate, with a light lingering bitterness. Finishes clean, but also brings a bit of oil density from a hop angle. As it warms, hints of tea and orange perkalate all over, there's a chewy yeasty character to this beer also, kind of... "stanky?". Lively crisp carbonation matching the clean feeling.
Overall pretty solid pale ale and very drinkable too.

Draft at BitterCreek. Nice looking beer, gentle hoppy aroma. Taste brings some caramel malts and butterscotch. Flavors bring it squarely into English style. Fast finish, almost had me , then it died on the palate.

On draft at the Odell Brewery - June 2013
A - Golden amber color, 1 finger of head, tons of lace
A - Nice aroma, big citrus fruit flavored hop aroma from the whole hops
T - Extremely hoppy pale ale, nice take on a traditional English style. Much better than a traditional english pale ale with the extra hoppy kick
M - Light bodied, light carbonation. Smooth
O - A very tasty pale ale. Well done
