Rupture was born out of our obsession with getting the most out of each and every hop. In fact, we built a machine in our brewery to incorporate a unique fresh grind process. By grinding the whole hop we “rupture” the lupulin inside – releasing the oils that give the beer its flavor. And what we grind that day we use that day. Leaving you a beer that’s fresh, aromatic, with a bright hoppy character.

Can from Boise Co-op. Bright orange golden pour, small head fades. Light citrusy aroma, orange peel. Taste is the same, a bit more bitter oomph from the hops. Citrusy without being juicy.

12oz can mfr date 9/17/22 into a nonic pint glass.
L: Pours almost transparent radiant caramel yellow w a very light green hue, thin white head w low retention, fine carbo, some lacing w light sheeting.
S: Lightly dank hops, buttery bread, caramel malts, gently earthy.
T: Caramel malts, herbal hops, lightly vinous, yeast, pineapple, melon rind, leafy & earthy. Quickly sweet then malty, then the hops dance. Citrus zest rises to the top and lingers. 1 out of 10 on the Dank-O-Meter.
F: Lightly juicy, smooth & lightly plush w a quick snap, a medium body and a moderately drying finish w a long linger. Extremely light grit in the finish.
O: A 3-Stage American IPA:
1. Snappy
2. Malty
3. Hops
Not complex really and its tastes morph beautifully w warming. Yeast here plays an important role. It is dynamic and is outstanding in its style.

Look: Slightly hazy, (perhaps just chill haze) transparent pale gold with a rocky white. Decent retention, great lacing.
Smell: Sweet, biscuit malt, mango and pineapple, brown sugar. Smells kind of like pineapple upside down cake?
Taste: Pineapple, brown sugar...pineapple upside down cake. Yeah, I can't get over it. It tastes like pineapple upside down cake. Sweet but finishes crisp and fairly clean with just a touch of piney bitterness.
Feel: Medium, crisp, well carbonated, slightly oil but finishes clean.
Overall: Pretty good IPA! Refreshing and crushable, sort of an "in between" styles example.

Gold color, a tad hazy, with a moderate head. Fair pine-resin hop nose, along with sweet malt. BIG hop hit on first taste, a mix of citrus fruit hops and resin, with lots of bitterness. Sweet malt is amply balanced by the high bitterness and the finish is sweet-dry. Very good moderately-strong IPA.

This looked so good in the glass, light head remained consistent though the serving, not the absolute best I've had in my life but an extremely solid IPA. Definitely would purchase again
