Thought I had reviewed this one already having had a few in the past, but turns out I haven't so here it goes.

L - 12 oz bottle poured into pint glass pours a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a finger or two of off-white head that dissipates a little slower and leaves about an inch of lacing on the glass. Very bubbly and consistent.

S - Grapefruit, honey, orange blossom, fresh-cut grass, dank, earthy, piney hops, and a strong floral presence but mostly citrus-heavy on the nose.

T - A nice balance of bitter and sweet throughout the sip. Orange, tangerine, rapefruit, lemon, and peach up front with bitter, astringent alcohol notes to follow, some spice, slight biscuity malt with a dry hoppy finish.

F - Light-to-medium bodied with good carbonation. The carbonation is present but not overpowering. Drinks fairly easy for having a 7% ABV. Very smooth, not-so-sticky, and finishes dry.

O - A nice, complex IPA that drinks almost like a lighter beer. A good balance of fruity and hoppy notes and a strong alcohol presence. Up there with some of the better IPAs I've drank and a good representation of the style. Good for the hop-heads and good for those who like a more citrusy beer as well.

No aroma. 3 months old so maybe it had a little more a few months back.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 3/20/2018. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, never aggressive. Old school IPA, classic C and Amarillo hops. Great mix of juicy, dank, and earthy hop complexity; nice bready Vienna malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. A really enjoyable offering, loved the hop profile.

I'm initially impressed with this beer.
Smells grassy, poured golden and the head was smooth, and quickly retreated to a soft foam. The taste is what gets me, it's a simple and beautiful IPA. Very wheatie and moderately hoppy, it's an easy drink. I could be fooled that this is 7% abv, as my senses tell me this is a lighter beer. This is an awesome choice for all drinkers! I think that sums it up; it's a really good IPA!

This is the IPA I return to time and time again. It's is so balanced with grapefruit, malt, and hops that it's hard to believe how smooth it is without coming across weak in flavor. No other IPA strikes this kind of balance. If you have it in your area, definitely check it out.
