Very smooth and authentic IPA, with just the right punch. Not overly bitter or fruity , which tends to be the case with other IPA's. I would love to try it in tap, but I have only ever found it in bottles.

Nice IPA from Odell. Clearish amber color with solid head. Slight hops aroma, but nothing really strong shining through. Flavor is true to a flagship IPA, straight and narrow in it's balance. Enjoyable drink. Light-medium body.

12oz can, served in a willi becher glass. Pours a slightly cloudy, unfiltered copper yellow body, one finger thick, frothy white head, good retention, lots of lacing. Smell is citrus, grapefruit, caramel, moderate resin and pine sap. It's a fairly standard west coast style IPA on the nose. Flavour is a bit blander, on the sweeter caramel side, with a mild resin and pine bitterness on the finish. The grapefruit is a bit less prevalent on the palate than it is on the nose. As a whole, the flavour is standard west coast style grapefruit and pine with a balance of toasted grain and caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly syrupy, good carbonation, moderate pine bitterness on the backend, good balance. This is a very solid IPA although it seems to have been outpaced compared to its current contemporaries nowadays.

Bought this beer on a lark. Had never heard of it. A nice pour, a darkish yellow. Okay smell, no real promise of given. Taste is hope central, pine, finishes with a not unpleasant but slight sweetness. Not nearly my favorite IPA but I do enjoy it. I am sure I will access again.

Thought I had reviewed this one already having had a few in the past, but turns out I haven't so here it goes.

L - 12 oz bottle poured into pint glass pours a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a finger or two of off-white head that dissipates a little slower and leaves about an inch of lacing on the glass. Very bubbly and consistent.

S - Grapefruit, honey, orange blossom, fresh-cut grass, dank, earthy, piney hops, and a strong floral presence but mostly citrus-heavy on the nose.

T - A nice balance of bitter and sweet throughout the sip. Orange, tangerine, rapefruit, lemon, and peach up front with bitter, astringent alcohol notes to follow, some spice, slight biscuity malt with a dry hoppy finish.

F - Light-to-medium bodied with good carbonation. The carbonation is present but not overpowering. Drinks fairly easy for having a 7% ABV. Very smooth, not-so-sticky, and finishes dry.

O - A nice, complex IPA that drinks almost like a lighter beer. A good balance of fruity and hoppy notes and a strong alcohol presence. Up there with some of the better IPAs I've drank and a good representation of the style. Good for the hop-heads and good for those who like a more citrusy beer as well.
