This is a decent pale ale, and great summer drinker.

Deep yellow in color, with a malt forward nose.

Flavor is pleasant, again make forward with a clean floral hop finish.

Bottle poured into a BarrelHouse Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours golden yellow amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some spotty lacing.

S: Grassy, citrus zest, light tropical fruit, floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Bright, citrus zest, lemon and tangerine, tropical fruit, passion fruit, grassy, floral, floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Light to medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: Light and bright pale ale. Tasty summer beer.

Only recently having discovered Odell, I'm impressed particularly by St. Lupulin.
While Odell makes appeals to hop-heads, I found it very balanced... a brew that a malt-head like me would enjoy in a session. Its use of hops is subtle and the malts are well-blended. My only mistake was that I planned to have this with Indian leftovers and, with the onset of those spices, St. Lupulin's delicate spicing got lost. My loss.
I will have St. Lupulin again soon.

The pour is yellow gold with coral like lacing. To me this beer is lacking in any strong direction anywhere, yet sunny. It has a wonderful and slightly frothy mouthfeel, and is exceptionally session-able for having 6.5 ABV.

Yellow/orange, light, mildly opaque beer. Little head that maintains a small ring as it travels down the glass. Nice wash of lacing.

Smell is pretty toned down like a standard pale ale - mostly some grass, faint lemon, smooth. Taste is a little tart, where the floral hops, grass, lemon, and pale malts show their true character. Yeasty malts are muted by the array of sunny charm.

It is definitely a turned up APA, with a tiny bit of bitterness. Really light and the easy drinking aspect is really nice. Slightly hydrating to the pallet.

Pours a gorgeous sunburst yellow orange with a gentle hazing and a fluffy finger of slight off-white foam.

Fresh cut grass, biscuits, and subtle lemon.

Grassy and resinous hop flavor up front followed by a crackery sweet malt character.

Light-bodied, medium carbonation, balanced, slightly dry finish.

Overall, a nicely balanced ale and quite drinkable!

This beer pours a pale amber yellow with an average head. The aroma is soft with notes of lemon, cracker malts, pepper, melon, fresh earth, and light tobacco. The flavor offers up mild lemon oil , light cracker malts, underripe lemon, woodsy hops, and mild bitterness. The mouthfeel is very light and foamy. Overall it is a decent beer with nice complexity, but a bit lighter and less intense than I would like.

Poured from a bottle with an expiration of 8/10/17. The beer pours a deep amber with a short, thick, edit head that leaves nice lacing.

The smell is fresh, grassy hops tending toward tropical, but otherwise nothing strong or distinctive.

The taste had a strong, bready malt base that holds up some decent piney and tropical hops. It's well balanced.

The mouthfeel is medium to high carbonation and slightly thick/oily.

Overall it's a pretty good beer. It's a little heavy on the malt for me, but easy to drink.
