A:
Pours a partially clear amber with tinges of red with the light behind it. It has a generous beige head that seems quite even and creamy; eventually settling to a healthy, sticky coating. Very good retention; nice, sloppy lacing.

S:
Soap, hard water, wet cut grass. Smells pretty good and it is definitely all on the same page. There is a definite malt presence mellowing the bitterness but it is pretty well hidden.

T:
Tremendously bitter, but hovers on the edge of tolerable (to me, at least). Hits you right off with strong resinous hop flavors before the biscuity malt comes in and mellows everything out. Grass, pine sap, dough, oranges, more pine.

M:
Flat and dry with a silky feel on the whole and a nice balance between softness and carbonation. Medium body.

O:
Very good IIPA.
This is one of those IPAs that really gets you. But it is surprisingly drinkable and doesn't wreck you too bad for how bitter it is. The beer is a pleasure to feel and look at. Definitely worth trying if you love IPAs, it is one of the better ones in my opinion.
Would have again; worth trying.
