From a 12 oz bottle in a variety pack, into a willibecher. About 75% of the time, this seems absolutely great. But there's an edge that doesn't seem right, kind of tinny and metalic and off, which is a little about the aftertaste and a little about the mouthful. Anyway, pours a glowing pale gold with a decent puffy white head and minimal retention. Nose is zippy yeast, grainy crackers with a little wheaty citrus. Taste is even better: everything in the nose, but also some more interesting floral and round melon notes...but then something goes off toward the end. Usually, I think these guys do no wrong...this isn't wrong, but it isn't quite as right as I was hoping it would be, either.

This beer pours a pale gold with a small head. The aroma is light with cracker malts and a citrus hint, with some floral and melon tones. The flavor is bright and clear, with a white bread and dough flavor, as well as mild citrus peel, and a hint of wood. The mouthfeel is very light with soft, limited, foamy carbonation. Overall this is a nice beer, but maybe a bit lighter in both flavor and mouthfeel than I would prefer - Boulevard seems to have one over on this.

Pours a slightly hazy darker yellow orange with a bubbly but plump finger of foam.

Grain/cereal sweetness and a bit of lemony/citrus fruity character.

Flavor has a little more depth than aroma, but still rather subtle and nuanced overall.

Light-bodied, medium-high carbonation, crisp but soft, sweet but rounded.

Overall, not quite what I expected after reading the bros articles which made me eager to try this, but tasty nonetheless. Though certainly not 'world-class' in my opinion.

12oz bottle, best enjoyed by 9/7/17
A - hazy golden hefeweizen colored body with a frothy white head
S - cracked wheat, a bit woodsy, lemongrass, yeast
T - earthy yeast, wheat, lemon and orange zest and pith
M - fuller body but still refreshing
O - I didn't seem to like this as much as the Bros did. I thought it was hood, but not great. I doubt I'd buy it again, although it is recommendable for the style.

Poured into a glass, murky tarnished gold with a two inch head that fade leaving lots of lacing. Smell of crackers, taste of wheat, citrus, banana, a bitter aftertaste. Easy drinking, thirst quenching.

Appearance: Cloudy medium amber with one finger white head and nice lacing.

Smell: Wheat, malt, some fruit.

Taste: balanced wheat with a malt finish.

Feel: Carbonation seems good. Smooth crisp unfiltered beer.

Overall: Long ago I used to love bud light golden wheat. This is that beer on steroids! Very good!

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow body with a medium creamy off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma of citrus, wheat, and some banana. Flavor of citrus and wheat. Very good american wheat.

Head is a bubbly froth over the top with very nice lacing. Color is a beautiful golden yellow hue. Aroma is yeasty, yogurt, toasted wheat, lemon, lime. Palate is super light and frothy starting with a delicious yogurt custard richness fading into a sourdough wheat bread lemon emulsion with a refreshing bitter lime tang finish to contrast the rich buttery middle. Texture is very light and smooth with a crisp refreshing finish. Carbonation is big and frothy contributing to the light texture and doughy goodness. Pros are beautiful lacing and color, complex, refreshing, easy drinking, sessionable (4.5%) brew. Cons simple on the nose, kinda frothy and bubbly in carbonation, maybe a little out of balance towards the yeastiness. 92/100
