Ap - Brilliant amber, nice off-white head. Sticky lacing.

Ar - Diaper, caramel, oak, fruit.

T - Taste is more fruit and oak forward than nose. So good!

M - Perfect amount of dryness and silkiness.

O - Can't complain. This is the best display of mosaic hops I've seen... AND it's too years old.

Bottle #02010, from notes.

A - Pours a hazy light brown with massive 3 finger off-white foam head.

S - Spicy yeast, clove, pepper, alcohol, vanilla.

T - Smooth woody vanilla flavor with light tropical exotic fruits that make an appearance, followed with a light spicy hops with a semi-dry finish.

M - Light to medium mouthfeel with plenty of carbonation.

O - Very intriquing, interesting strong ale. I really enjoy the mosaic hops for the spice aspect of it because it keeps the vanilla and wood flavors in check. It all melds together quite nicely. This is priced quite high but if you see a bottle of this on discount it's definitely worth picking up.

Appearance: deep orange gold. Pours with a nice head that settles down quickly to a thin foam on the surface.

Aroma: fruit, perhaps orange and grapefruit with some sweet caramel notes form the malt.

Taste: delicious malt presence with a very nice vanilla from the oak. Some bitterness from the hops, that do not overpower the malt, but rather they support each other well. Interesting fruit flavors from the hops as well.

Mouthfeel: smooth, but with a nice bite form the medium level of carbonation. Medium-thick body.

Overall: this is quite simply another excellent ale form Odell. Enjoyable and delicious! I am well pleased. A complex beer, I'll be savoring this one for a while.
