Pours a hazy deep firey coppery-orange with a nice khaki head and solid lacing. Aroma offers some nice juicy clementine mixed with some ginger, on top of a caramel malt base offering a somewhat dominated sweet, bready base. Flavor starts off sweet and juicy from the clementine and then the ginger comes in strong. All of that is on top of a sweet caramel and bready malt foundation reminiscent to Town Pump's, but that malt definitely gets overshadowed a bit here. A medium bodied, creamy moutfhfeel. Not crazy activity but enough to suit the beer just fine. Overall, I definitely enjoyed this one and really, really like what they got going. It could use some tweaking of the balance though; make the ginger a tad bit less aggressive/dominat, allow the malt to show itself a little bit more and this beer could be just that much better. As is, though, still highly enjoyable and were I at the taproom with my growler in hand I probably would have left with it filled.
