A pilot beer on tap at their taproom showcasing a new, experimental hop variety know as 7272.

Pours a translucent golden with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet and quite musty; good dose of wet hay, a little fruity, and a little crackers. Flavor pretty much followed suit. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with some activity and a bit of creaminess. Overall, interesting brew that definitely seemed to showcase the hop variety. For 4.4% abv, this beer definitely provided a lot of flavor which was very impressive. Not sure I was a huge fan of the 7272 hop variety, at least in such a direct manner, but perhaps utilized in a different way, in balance with some other ingredients I might enjoy its usage more?
