Style: American Double / Imperial IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 8.00%

Notes / Commercial Description:
Tree Shaker Imperial Peach IPA has roots right here in Colorado. We balanced familiar citrusy hop notes with the subtle sweetness of local peaches. You might say we gave both the tree and the style a playful little shake.

I bought this beer at a kiosk in the denver airport during a layover. The scent had hints of peach citrus. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. Good sweet malt mixed wiyh slight bitter peach citrus. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a solid beer.

This brew, from a 12 ounce aluminum can, is a clear honey color with a very thin head. The aroma is a mix of hops a sweet malt, with lots of fruit. I didn't get peach at first...it was, instead, a sweetish general fruit smell. However, after a sip, the peach did come out in the aroma. The taste is intensely bitter, and has a lot of alcohol warmth. The body is full and the flavors work well together. More fruit and lots of bitter hops in the finish.

Pours a nice sunny golden yellow with a light orange hue and a half finger of straight white foam.

Pungent tropical fruit character with notes of mango, melon, and the peach addition is most definitely apparent.

Hmm, tropical fruit and peach comes through in flavor, but wow this tastes too artificial to enjoy. The peach flavor is reminiscent of those sour peach chews without the sour.

Light-bodied, low-medium carbonation, cloyingly sweet.

Overall, this beer looks nice and smells great, but everything about it screams artificial or low grade peach extract.

large white foamy head, great lacing

great balance, spices,chewy, juicy.
