You know those epic days that start with an idea, turn into a dare and end with a great story to tell? This is the beer for those days. Crisp and refreshing like any respectable session ale, but a bit more hop-forward and flavorful than some. Perfect for going with the flow.

Sampled yesterday on 12/28/14. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a pilsner glass.

Pours a clear straw-yellow in color with about a good half-finger foamy/fizzy white head that settles down to around just a few millimeters in a short time. Lots of sticky lacing was seen when sipped that just sticks to the glass instead of sliding back down. The aroma has a lot of citrus, mostly grapefruit with some lemongrass. Bit more going on with the taste with the citrus right up front followed by grassy, earthy hops. Does leave a bitter finish that hung around a bit more than I like. Feels sharp in the mouthful with a good amount of carbonation. Overall, not a big fan of this style of brew.

Not finding the IPA in this, seems more like an APA. Faint lemony citrus aroma on a gorgeous pour, hazy pale golden body with lasting creamy head. Taste is also very subdued, almost leaning into pilsener lightness.

Still knocking out those 2014 reviews. Here's one from one of my favorite CO breweries over the years.

Pours industry standard yellow/gold with 1/2" white head and good clarity. Aroma was moderately hoppy, but perhaps a little less than the standard O'Dell's hoppy offering. Standard grapefruit rind and tree leaf Cascade like bittering aroma in the nose.

Taste clearly comes across as their session ipa. Very light pale and maybe even a little pilsner malt, effervescent carbonation keeps pushing the levity envelope. The hopping is not oversaturated, standard Cascade and similar Bravo hops give a familiar bitter tone without being palate wrecking on a session scale. I can dig it, tried and true, pretty familiar stuff, but without the crystal malts. Commercial tug job says 31 ibu, but the mouth feel seems about 45, which is cool for me too. I think its a winner, and could easily buy another 6 pack of this.

December 26th, 2015 - Here's a peachy sessionable ale from O'Dell. A light haze and a blonde body make this seem a little lighter than a traditional IPA, but the nose is primarily hoppy, but with a Pilsner-esque freshness as well. The flavor is clear and bright, with a touch of lemon, and a sessionable intensity and ABV. Very nice!

4% abv version
Appearence is medium head and a standard cheap beer clear golden color
Nose is a bit more interesting, a medium bready malt and some hops are detectable
Taste is well rounded and drinkable, I pick up a little of licorice behind a nice balance between bread and hops.
I'd put this solidly in the "highly chuggable yet interesting" category
EDIT after looking through the thread I also see the pepper and lemon to the taste other people are saying about.

This one pours a gold the color of fresh lemon with a slightly cloudiness to it. The head is thin and short lived with little to no lacing down the glass.

The nose is sharp pine on a malty bed with hints for floral notes, camphor, lemon zest and vanilla.

The taste is an effervescent experience of sharp pine like hops, black pepper and dry malt.

The mouthfeel is just right for the style allowing the flavors to cover the palate effectively.

Overall another fine addition to the Odell Lineup and exceptionally drinkable.
