COD 1/2/19. Pours a dark amber with a high level of haze. Normal head volume, good lacing and retention.
Outstanding nose that is fruit oriented. Notes of pineapple, melon and light orange zest with a subtle bit of spicy spruce underneath. The base is slightly bready with a nice soft caramel note.
Medium body that has a smooth texture with a bit of heft to it. It leaves you with a nice oily slick sensation. Carbonation / body balance is outstanding and is adequate for flavor separation but feels slightly under carbonated. The finish is slightly prickly.
The flavor profile is outstanding and lives up to the nose. Flavors present as indicated by the aroma. Bitterness is mild and is pine, spruce and zest. Zest dominates in the lingering finish. The base is barely sweet, bready in nature and has a hint of caramel. Sweetness intensity is just enough to contrast the bitterness and support the hop fruit notes.

not a bad local south east ga beer.
citrus notes seem like there trying to copy sculpins ipa.
not bad, they might want to try sum thing other than citrus to stand out from the west coast.

Served on draft at Rosie Ogradys in Beaufort SC. Arrives a clear orange amber color and topped with a seizeable white, frothy, cloudy head. Aroma is quite floral on the hops. The flavor was over the top floral hops. Kind of like a juicy New England style but without the the body. It’s almost TOO juicy, meaning the dry hops are all there is to this. Like drinking hip juice. Lacks bitterness.

Has the look. Has the aroma. But some how it just doesn't follow through. A little on the boozy tasting side which is fine, but the bitterness of the hops here just don't get the job done. Just not a completely balanced beer.

This started off really well, but then something left me a bit flat. The back end of this wasn't really doing it for me. It had the smell and aromas of an outstanding beer, but then, not so much. I'd like to try again as my first beer of the night instead of my third.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass at the Crystal Beer Palace. The appearance is a clear golden color with a small head. The aroma is mild hops. The taste is similar to the nose.
