A simple pale ale brewed with our own local barley from Snow Hill and cold brewed coffee produced on site at Burley Oak. This Ale pours an attractive golden hue and has a pleasant residual sweetness.

A - Hazy dark gold with micro thin lacing and no carbonation.
S - Big coffee and cream aroma, hands down.
T - Same as the nose - All coffee and cream from start to finish.
M - Medium body that's thin around the edges.
O - Really like the twist on the cream ale style right here!

This was another beer purchased during the govt destruction of small business mission-19.
Pours a dark gold almost leaning into a lighter amber color into a 2013 Marquette jersey pint glass, 3/5" off white head. Ample clarity. The aroma definitely kicks the coffee across your nose. It generally looks like your typical BMC lager just an SRM tick or two darker, but smells like a big roasted coffee stout. Beyond that, there is a light cream/vanilla aspect to the nose, but golden waves of grain lie beneath and out of whiff shot.
Taste is good, its basically a coffee delivery device for people who don't like dark beer. And it works, has a creamy light blond edge more than a roasty one. Its a nice sessionable strength. The base beer is such that this might appeal to light beer drinkers who like coffee. But it has enough interest to keep grizzled old veterans on board too. The beer is very nice, not really sure how evil it is though. Definitely not cursed.

06/22/2020 "Twice the buzz in a single can". Pale gold, bit of white foam. Smells coffee. Soft mouthfeel, with some sharp carb. Taste is light and easy, nice amount of subtle coffee, bit of yeastyness. Tiny bit bitter, plenty coffee, very well balanced.

16 ounce can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.
Canned 4/28/20
It pours murky pale gold and is topped with a little more than a finger of dense cream-white foam that fades to just a ring. The nose is subdued, mostly light roast coffee and vanilla cream. It drinks malt forward and medium sweet, light roast coffee, vanilla, cream soda, no corn/DMS flavor. The sweet spice hop flavor is minimal and bitterness is very light rising just a bit for a short, mild bitter finish. Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied and creamy with medium carbonation adding a slight crispness to the finish.
So far I'm not a big fan of Cream Ales but I liked this one. It is flavorful and easy drinking but is to the heavy side of the style.

Fairly sweet and not as much coffee flavor as I was expecting but still a very tasty beer. A light touch of hops helps balance out the cream and coffee flavors.
