341ml bottle, a single procured from the latest, I presume, HopBox. I am vaguely reminded of a short-lived network TV show called Flash Forward from a few years back. Made solely with the Mosaic varietal, apparently the bastard child of Simcoe and Nugget, and a patently silly name for a single-hopped IPA.

This beer pours a clear, somewhat glassy medium golden yellow hue, with three fingers of puffy, aspiration-heavy rocky off-white head, which leaves some nice fuzzy layered lace around the glass as it slowly fades away.

It smells of tropical vegetation - only slightly fruity (of the pineapple and kiwi sort) - perfumed florals, bitter, acrid citrus essence, middling pale malt, and an earthy mustiness. The taste is fruity and floral, both of the well-stocked grocery store produce aisle sort, i.e. bitter navel oranges, underripe pineapple, and musty carnations alike, with a slightly pastry-like doughy pale malt, and a further nondescript earthy dryness.

The bubbles are a bit peppy at first, but settle down soon enough, the body a decent medium weight, and generally quite smooth, nothing really getting in the way of that. It finishes off-dry, the fading fruitiness a minor boon for a steadily plodding pale malt.

An interesting display of the flavours of the latest hop-instein, yet another of the sort that could use one or more of the established big 'C' hops to round things out, and give an overall sense of balance. Worth a try, but not really engaging beyond the one.

341ml brown bottle with twist off cap poured in a pint glass. Came from a mixer 12 pack purchased from Willow Park in Regina.

Hazy yellow-light gold in colour. White head is 1/4 inch on the pour but recedes to a thin cap.

Really juicy citrus aroma. Grapefruit, orange, lemon.

Fairly mild hop bitterness, but full of flavour. Citrus juices and lightly toasted malts. Nice and refreshing.

This is a nice mellow treat for hop-heads. Not overly heavy handed with the hops, but still full of flavour.
