Thank you Zak by way of Tom for getting us this set of anniversary berliners to try. Its greatly appreciated.
750ml corked and caged bottle into a snifter. The brew appears a clear yet very light yellow color with a fizzy and audible white head.
The smell is sweet like fresh grain blending to lemony lacto and yogurt aspects. Pleasant and pretty basic for the style.
The taste is tart and lemony with a little sulfur and cheesy yogurt. It had a sweet fresh grainy aftertaste like wheat which is nice.
This is light bodied and effervescent in the feel. Overall this is pretty average and by all means good stuff. However, considering how much I heard they were charging for these I would pass if offered again.

This was a Berlinerweiss. This was a good Berlinerweiss. I would drink this Berlinerweiss again.
