Bottle poured into a snifter glass
A: Pours dark brown, nearly black, with a rich deep tan head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Molasses, umami, dark chocolate, roasty malt, slightly smokey, burnt toast, kinda nutty, and a hint of coffee.
T: Dark bittersweet chocolate, molasses, roasted malt, burnt toast, coffee, slightly nutty, and a touch of lactose sweetness.
M: Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, creamy smooth, alcohol was very well hidden.
O: With a little age the roasty side has come out nicely while any lactose milk stout sweetness has faded to just a nice accent.

Shared with Kyle.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice dark black hue with a thin mocha head that leaves a nice halo.
S - Aromas of fudgy chocolate, nice light malts. Very chocolate heavy.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, loads of chocolate with a light coffee note. Faint apples.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated smooth, booze hidden well.
O - Overall this beer was rather tasty, nice and chewy with good chocolate.

Looks nice, big thick chocolate head on top this opaque blackness along with the heavy lacing.
Nose is a big chocolate punch with hints of molasses, fig and black cherry in near equal amounts.
Tastes massive as well. It's got chocolate, molasses and old fashioned licorice on the finish.
Mouthfeel is almost chewy before it fades off, leaving a ton of sweetness on the tongue.
Of all the chocolate stouts I have had, this one is an absolute chocolate bomb. I mean goodness, this thing is like a Hershey bar in a bottle. Well not exactly, but you get my point. Being said, this indeed is a great beer, but this big bottle will be a bit of a chore to finish for just one person.

Received as an extra in a recent trade.
This one pours a very dark black, with a deep mocha-colored head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells like deep, rich chocolate- cocoa nibs and chocolate syrup, with some roasted malt, and sweet vanilla cream.
This has gotta be on the most chocolatey beers I've ever had, it's insane. Just a really nice authentic chocolate flavor here, rich, earthy, and just a little bit sweet, some sweet vanilla cream, some lactose as it is a milk stout after all, and a little bit of roasted malt. It manages to not be too sweet, which is nice, nice balance of sweet and bitter.
This has a super thick and fudgy mouthfeel, with a lower level of carbonation.
A really excellent milk stout, one of the best chocolate based stouts that I've had.

This been had a huge aroma of dark chocolate/cocoa powder, with some underlying vanilla and coffee as well. The flavor profile replicated the nose, but there was something of burnt toast underling grittiness that was intriguing as well. For much a big beer, it really wasn't all the boozy, and I would not have guessed the abv. was that high. A little bit went a long way, but even so, this was a fun beer to sample.

750 mL bottle. Inky and viscous. Nice mocha head. Rich dark chocolate and booze aroma. Taste is also very rich. Sweet caramel. Milk chocolate. Booziness. The finish is bitter dark chocolate and fudge. Very heavy and sweet. Sluggish to drink. I expected worse, but the flavors aren't bad. It's just over the top.
