Vibrant yellow-orange color and a thick white head. Biscuity malts and dry yeast dominate the nose with hints of peach skin and white pepper in the background. A slight pepperiness up front in the taste, backed by a subtle and light fruitiness with peach and orange. Fairly light-bodied and dry. Summery and refreshing.

Bottle thanks to Red Beard. Subtle fruity accents on this sturdy tripel, tweaking some of the normal style characteristics. Not overly sweet, just a tinge to add to the butery, savory triple flavors.

Hardywood peach tripel

Look: very cloudy, orange-yellow color, supple off white film like head

Aroma: Belgian yeast esters, a little clove, pronounced fruitiness from both peaches and yeast esters, strong bread aroma

Taste: much lighter drinking than I expected! A nice peach undertone to complement a strong tripel flavor. Fresh bread and biscuity malt flavor, Belgian yeast, and the peach comes in slow at first but then you can taste the peaches on the finish, but still a very minor flavor (which is nice. This is definitely not a peach flavored beer)

Mouthfeel: much lighter and easy drinking than its 8.2% ABV would suggest. Medium body, medium finish. Low carbonation

Overall: I am delightfully surprised by this beer. Not as fruit sweet as I anticipated, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Still a sweet beer because of the huge malt flavor and the peach undertones, but a great summer beer and one that you could have a few of (if you're not driving, that is.)

From the half liter bottle, it pours a hazy amber color with a small head, soon diminishing to a small ring. Fruity scent, probably peach, in the nose. The mouth gets more of the same, with little to no aftertaste.
