Draft at Rustico, Alexandria.
Brown body with a soapy beige collar. Light chocolate, roast, coconut. Mild to medium sweetness. Smooth on the palate. Pretty good.

On tap (nitro):
Pours black or near black, foamy head with the nitro does what it's supposed to, look nice and lace the glass.
Nose when still cold it lightly nutty with an impression of coconut more so than a distinct coconut scent. Warmth brings a little chocolate into the fold, and another sweetness that I am interpreting as more coconut, like flaked, sweetened coconut from a bag.
Taste is chocolate candy, with some coconut notes to make me think of Mounds (definitely far from being as sweet as the candy bar, of course). Mid taste begins to taste like an oily dark nut, Brazil comes to mind. There's a light woody, earthy taste that comes on late and finishes the beer.
This was a nitro pour, and the feel was smooth, light on carbonation. There was also the impression of being a tad watery, sometimes also caused by the lack of CO2. The end was fairly dry, actually.
An okay offering. The coconut does seem like much more of an accent Thani expected. Wonder how a non-nitro might be different.

Black and opaque with slight brown on the edges and in the 1/4" of head.
Smell is malty with a mild sweetness and coffee. No discernible coconut but am smelling, oddly enough, sun tan lotion.
Taste is a myriad of mild flavors, roasted coffee, malt, vanilla, and coconut. The finish is somewhat bitter.
Mouthful is medium and smooth with light carbonation.
Overall this is a nice porter. The flavors were balanced but the drawback was strength in those same flavors.
