This is a nice open clean warehouse store with very well marked signs. I could see from the front door the sign for craft beer and the coolers. They had a full selection from around the U.S. and a good selection from the other big beer regions.

They have plenty of Schlagl Roggen Gold if you want to try a roggenbier. I was a bit confused when I saw some stone Imp. IPA and other stones I didn't recognize. Turns out they have a section of some vintage beers. They IIPA was from 2010 and they had some older ones. They had a few beers on sale but must were empty, perhaps they got cleaned out on opening day.

There were several people working that came over to ask if I need help and everyone was friendly. This is a nice big store and if your in the area it is worth a stop.

I find myself here 1 to 2 times a week, and the beer department staff is sufficient and very attentive.the selections are many, west coast beers well represented here, if you are quick , you can even snag some zombie dust once in a while. checkout can be slow at times tho, so glad im never in a hurry.

This location is a sleeper in the Binny's store locations. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They have a great craft beer selection and a large beer cooler selection with many choices.

This is one of the newest and also one of the largest Binny's stores in the chain with a large beer section to match. There are 2½ full aisles of craft beers to browse through, plus another wall full of craft domestic beers just to the right of the cash registers. Then add to that they have the largest cold beer cooler I have ever seen, and if that is still not enough beer for you, they have a single bottle and can rack of over 100 different beers to choose from where you can mix and match any six beers on those racks for $9.99. They also have tons of floor displays of your everyday macro beers such as Bud, Miller, Coors, etc. and many times you will find sales reps from various beer companies offering samples to passers by. The last time I was there I got to sample some Firestone Walker brews.

As for the staff, I found them to be both knowledgeable and helpful. If I have any complaint at all it's that they don't have enough of them out on the floor. Several times I've waited 5-10 minutes looking for a beer manager to come by, but other than that, this is a beer lovers paradise.

Yet another location in the ever expanding empire that is Binny's Beverage Depot. The interior is big and spacious like all others with two long aisles of beer, a set of shelves off to the side with upper Midwestern breweries, including locals, and a fairly large shelving unit with single in between the two. I do like they way the beer is displayed. American, Belgian, German, English, Scandinavian ,and so on each have their own section. The US breweries are all situated by location; ex. Pacific Northwest, Southern California, Northeast.

The beer guy is always walking around and asking if I need any help so he's always willing to answer questions. This location is one of, if not the only suburban Binny's to carry Half Acre (keep an eye on the case date though). There is a lot of beer for sale at this Binny's but for some reason they don't carry some breweries other Binny's in the area carry, Upright and Prairie come to mind right away.

Bloomingdale Binny's is another overall good store. I have picked up some behind the counter special releases here that had sat around a little longer than other locations. It seems to me like it's more about sheer volume than it is about high quality selections. With that minor gripe out of the way this Binny's is worth a stop if you're in the area.

I felt it was to make the rounds to all the various Binnys location looking for some stuff I add to old cellar... This was my first time at this shop, and I will say I was impressed by the size.
It is HUGE.

That gigantism applies to the wee department as well; this store has the most shelf space dedicated to beer of any Binnys I've seen. The beer is nicely organized into imports vs domestic... The imports are further organized by country of origin and the domestic is organized by brewery if not by geographical location.

There was an amazing selection of Jolly Pumpkin beers here-- which is a wonderful find for yours truly.
The Belgian area had some 3F Schaarbeekse Kriek, 2009 Rodenbach Vintage, and a few others that caught my eye.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a couple bottles of Barrel Aged Naked Evil sitting on shelves as well.

The employees I talked to we're professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Overall-- if I'm in the area, I'll be stopping here for sure.

This Binny's doesn't really have the typical set up, but it is a really nice store inside.

The beer is over in the left corner. They had far more things on sale then the other Binny's I have visited recently which was interesting. I took advantage of that.

Didn't really see too many special releases, this place seemed to lack the special release display. But there are other semi special releases that are probably gone at other Binny's still here.

Overall a pretty god store imo. Very similar to the suburban standard for Binny's.

Typical binny's chicagoland stock, although one of the largest in the area, but like other reviewers i agree that my visits here have left a bad taste in my mouth. The 5 or so times i have been here, i have never once been approached by the staff, greeted when entering, and had to go so far as to ask the manager to find their "beer guy" who was on staff, who knew much less than i do, and i know next to nothing if its not an ale ... was looking for something different this time.

I was approached more, and helped better in a bentley dealer wearing a cut off t-shirt and driving an ex cop car.

Despite their recent addition of make your own six pack, i shall stick to my local place ...

Went here on opening day to pick up a couple special Stone brews and have been back a multiple times since.

A nice big Binny’s, obviously quite clean and kept up due to it being brand new. There is a nice big beer selection with lots of coolers. There are some beers here that are on the shelves that wouldn’t be otherwise (Firestone Walker XV). The selection is relatively good, though nothing [normally] out of the ordinary. I do like that they get Half Acre distribution.

Every time I have been here, I swear employees just look the other way. I don’t know why but I get a semi bad vibe when I walk in there. Every time I have to ask someone to get me something – no one approaches me (and it isn’t really busy).

A decent Binny’s, but one I really wouldn’t go to over my local Glen Ellyn one.

Binny's review #22 of 27.

Expansive new Binnys outpost in the W/NW burbs. Is there an area they haven't conquered yet? The empire continues...

Registers are the first thing you see once inside, beer aisles are back to the left, look for the wall of coolers. A large wall of shelving along the front wall held craft sixers and bombers, wasn't sure if this was just an overflow area or designated for seasonal/rotating stock. Six more aisles of beer, plus the coolers, there was plenty to take in. For the most part it was organized by country of origin. There was a fair amount of more popular craft stuff in the coolers. Didn't have time to catalogue the few thousand beers here, but noticed a few things... Southampton 750s, FFF bombers, Half Acre Daisy and Over Ale cans stacked deep, Hop Slayer cans, Big Muddy Monster, Hanssens and Timmermans Oude Gueuze, Fullers Vintage Ale, and full lines from just about every available brewery in the area. Didn't see a ton of seasonals, but there were some around in endcaps. Not much signage as far as new arrivals, seasonals, etc., but craft/import aisles were designated by the overhead signage.

Didn't encounter any staff in the beer aisles. We approached customer service to buy something from the locked case, but otherwise, service was hands off. Checkout was quick and friendly.

Went on opening day. The place is quite large and obviously very neat and clean. The cooler is insanely large, the largest outside of the city, actually. Very open and pretty massive.

The beer selection is about on par with what I'm accustomed to from te Algonquin store. There were some few gems that I enjoyed finding and also a few things I just hadn't noticed before. The stock was ample, but then again it was opening day. I don't see this changing much as the beer department is in good hands.

There are a lot of people on hand and the service almost overlaps. The departments are well covered with mainline associates that fill the gaps between department heads and consultants so you're never without some help.

Binnys is Binnys is Binnys, so the price points are about the norm that one would expect from a Binnys.

I'll definitely be making another few trips in the future as the Bloomingdale store is now another outlet for my beer hunting and it is worth the trip to get the attention and service that I had grown accustomed to at Algonquin.
