02/10/17 canning date
A: Pours a clear gold. Enormous frothy light tan head. Good head retention and decent spotty lacing everywhere.
S: Light grass atop a doughy malt aroma. White pepper in there too.
T: Light grass and citrus up front. Great doughy malt really hits the spot. White pepper and light earth in the finish with more of those grassy hops in the aftertaste.
M: Medium bodied, smooth.
O: Nice Tripel. Good traditional style and balance. Nothing amazing but a solid choice.

This is the worst beer I've ever had. It taste nasty. It was bad even after two shots of tequila.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Clear golden yellow color. Decent initial head the dissipates quickly, ok lacing. The first whiff of this beer is great: sweet apples and pears. The taste is of these sweet fruits with a nice earthiness. A bit of dry, slightly bitter taste on the backend. Good beer!

Pours a clear orangish color with white head. Smells much like a tripel, light fruit, yeast, and some light spice on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with some spice and sweetness.

12 oz. can poured into tall mug
(Feb. 22, 2016 born-on date)
L: clear gold, 1-inch tall head of offwhite foam, no stick or lace
S: fruity ... peach, apple, candied apple; yeast; slight bread malt; so sweet ... orange glaze, peach pie, peach kolaches, grape jelly
T: super sweet at first ... apple gum, tutti frutti gum; over time, some clove ... bitter, earthy bitter; bread dough at times; slight alcohol warmth
F: very full and crisp but light enough to make it easy drinking ... over time has a good ale softness, hefeweizen-like
O: cool brew ... touches base with my idea of the tripel and is one of the best American-made ones I've tried; very fruity and doesn't have that nutty flavor most American-made abbey ales have

Look: A yellowish orange.
Smell: A smell full of hops.
Taste: An oddly spicy taste.
Feel: At first I didn't feel much, which was followed by an enjoyable little kick.
Overall: I rewrote this after a second tasting.

First impression was a fantastic hard to pin aroma, slight licorice. Great for its style, but for my own personal liking it's overtly on the sweet side, very moscato-like. Light carbonation, which my fiancé is a fan of here.
That being said, I completely forgot that this is 8%, the alcohol is hidden very well. Cheers.

12 fl. oz. can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours a brilliant golden color. It is topped with an inch of white head that leaves little lacing.
I get banana and cloves. As it warms I also smell peach and pear.
It as a spicy taste. I get some pear as well.
Medium mouthfeel
This is a solid tripel. It drinks easy and is pleasant to the senses.
