Poured from a can into pint glass. Pours deep red orange with a small off white head. Smells of caramelized grain with slight citrus. Tastes of caramelized grain. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, bubbly, white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of caramel, biscuity malt, toffee and grasses. Sweet malty taste with toasted caramel and a mild bitterness.

Amber hued with lots of carbonation bubbles rising from within. There’s a quarter inch of creamy beige on top. The aroma is of lightly toasted malt and orange peel. I’m tasting bready malt and a touch of orange peel. The mouth is smooth and easygoing.

12oz can enjoy by 012123 poured into a tulip glass at fridge temp 5.6% ABV 18 IBU. The beer pours bright medium amber with khaki colored head. The head recedes to a thin cap. The aroma is mild with sweet caramel malt. The taste is semisweet caramel malt with a hint of earthy hops. Minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a semi dry finish. Overall, average, but drinkable.

I feel alive. Not because I am, but because Yule has me uplifted. Like pulling the sword from the stone, I am vibrant in awe and wonder. Life is this ‘thing.’ Yes, a lot of the time just a ‘thing.’ But there are moments. There are moments. And like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, I am awake. Breathe softly. Breathe well. Breathe.

Nice beer.....daily drinker. Interesting can is what drove me to buy this gear. Always a fan of a "Christmas Story"....greatest Christmas movie ever....Anyway, beer gives you a nostalgic feel. Good beer...low ABV relative to others. Nice color. Talked to owner....nice smooth drinking beer....give it a try.

Delicious red ale with a kick! I look forward to this holiday release of this Christmas beer! Has a nice little bite to it! Perfectly paired with cheese or salty nuts while cuddling around a fireplace!

Best by 012723 Pours a redddish color with a big head. Aroma is light but sweet smelling. Taste is light but smooth. Low carbonation but almost root beer like. It's a nice seasonal from Karbach.

Crystal clear copper, big-ass khaki head, great retention, thick rings of lace
Toasty, caramelly malt, slight orange aroma
Tastes like it smells.
Medium bodied and appropriately carbonated
A definite throw-back. I really like it

Hmm, I guess I'll add my review to the main listing, seriously figure out what this beer should be (that goes for both Beer Advocate and Karbach)

Clear dark red color, bubbly head forms and vanishes to nothing. No lace. Kind of grainy, sweet, with lots of cereal. Not much hop character, except a light earthiness. Of coarse the spices and body are gone but there supposedly orange peal in this though I can't tell. Just a limp, bland red ale that has no real character. This is a huge disappointment, and a pale imitation of what it once was pre AB-InBev. Thats not me just complaining, it went from an 8% ABV Winter Warmer that was really good in its own right, and that could also be used as a base for some barrel aged beers. To a medium strength "red" ale. Saying that, it is a really bland red ale to boot. Ralph (Karbach) shot his eye out indeed.
