Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a billowy white head of foam. The head fades very slowly, having a great level of retention, and upon fading leave a tong of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is quite heavy of a pine and earthy hop mixed with some lighter sweet aromas of tropical fruits (tangerine, pineapple, mango) as well as a bit of caramel. Overall rather robust and inviting.
Taste- The taste begins with a slightly more dry, but somewhat bready taste that has hints of the tropical fruits that were detected in the nose. Along with these flavors are some lighter flavors of pine and earth hop which grow stronger in nature as the taste advances further. All the while some light grapefruit and herb come to the tongue as well, and with the increase in the pine and earth hop one is left with a nice sorta dank and medium malted taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to slightly more chewy in thickness with a carbonation level that is average. For the mix of flavors the feel is rather well done and makes for a nice easy sipper.
Overall – A quite tasty and easy drinking brew overall. Mid-seasonable and quite tasty brew.

this is supposed to be available during the winter but I got it in late spring and a really cool spot called Nomads in Belton, tx. kinda tinny tasting and flat. I was a bit disappointed, this brewery usually has some really grand offerings. Still better than a Miller light.
