Pours out a hazy copper with a quickly receding white head. I smell light pale malts, a bit of booze, and some piney/citrus hops. Flavor is a bit too sweet for my liking. Malts are somewhat bready. This is quite malty overall. I'm not getting enough bitterness to balance the sweet. Floral hop in the finish. I hardly get any Belgian character. Would I even get any Belgian character if this wasn't called a "Belgian Style IPA?" I don't think so. Expecting "Belgian," I'd hoped for a more bubbly beer. Overall this was really smooth on the tongue.

This certainly isn't a bad IPA, but I don't see the justification of buying this over Hopadillo, especially since Hopadillo comes in a 6 of cans (at a better dollar/oz. ration). I think I would've liked this more if I wasn't expecting a more "Belgian style" beer (as marketed).

This gets boozy as it warms up. Not feeling this.

Roshambo Belgian IPA pours to a gold/tan color with a floral and citrus nose. The foam on this beer looks nice and it does leave some good lacing on your glass as you consume.

Roshambo is a complex beer with floral, fruity, and Belgian yeast notes. The presence of American hops is obvious and they impart a certain spiciness that is more than evident, but countered in an interesting way by the Belgian yeast.

Karbach describes this brew as a unique beer with a little kick to it- a simple yet accurate description. Combining IPA and Belgian beer into one, it features several complementary taste sensations. The beer is a little stronger than average, but it manages to maintain a smoothness and drinkability that keeps you intrigued to the end.

Roshambo is certainly a beer worth trying and will be available year- round in bomber bottles. If you find yourself uncertain what beer to try on your next beer store visit, play a round of roshambo and settle the decision, once and for all. You will be glad you did.
