5 oz taster pour in the taproom on 8/1/16, this is a new batch. Hard to judge head from this size glass, crystal clear yellow color. Vinous, woody nose with Belgian yeast overtones. Crisp flavors with the wine barrel really shining through and complementing the base beer. Medium body and above average carbonation.

22 oz bottle of the FUN 004 batch pours a hazed gold color with a dense cap of white head. Excellent retention and lace.

Nose is similar to Barn Burner with some pinot gris added in. The spices used in BB are thankfully muted and this smells much better than the base beer...I did not rate Barn Burner very high - I hate spices added to a saison. Still sweeter than I would like to see though and the malts heavier.

The tartness from the green grapes/wine barrels evens out the sweetness nicely. Much better than Barn Burner me thinks. The spices have toned down from age and are almost to a bearable level. The wine barrels have added some much needed depth and white wine could not have been a more perfect choice. Love the tartness added and the wood is mild but noticeable. While not my favorite from the FUN series, I thought it was an immense improvement on the base beer.

This pours a very nice golden color with a nice level of cloudiness that his a very thick, rich head that that settles very slowly and leaves a subtle lacing on the glass.

The nose is sweet and hoppy and the wine nose is very prevalent and more reminiscent of a sour style Flemish ale. The nose is actually very complex, spicy and sweet with hints of citrus, sour dough bread, hops.

The flavor is exceptional. The notes of wine are there and very good and really complimentary with the subtleness of a sour in flavor, not overwhelming, but definitely there. The farmhouse aspect is very present and is the dominant attribute, very fresh, very effervescent, with notes of fruit, oak, and as sour finish that is actually pleasant.

The mouthfeel is rich and somewhat savory. Very pleasing to the palate.

Overall I really like this beer and the 1Pint, 6oz serving and is a very fast drinking beer. This one is masterful in the creation and the final product is to be applauded. I would love to drink this beer on a regular basis.
