Part of a flight at the brewery
Pours a deep brown with a small mocha head
Aromas of heavy coffee, vanilla and maple
Taste is surprisingly not very coffee forward, more of that deep roasted and maple sweetness
Feel is a bit thinner than expected for 8.5% but not bad
Overall a pretty decent coffee stout, definitely different

Pours a two finger light tan head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Black color, no highlights. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Roasted coffee nose and taste is malty roasted coffee with burnt coffee finish. Higher ABV, 8.5% is hidden. $2.90 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

12oz bottle, served in a snifter glass. Pours a dark black body, full opaque and dark with a one finger offwhite head, good retention, thin collar, not much lacing. Smell is creamy milk chocolate, black coffee bean with a bit of roast, lactose, a bit of toasted chocolate barley, slight earthiness. Flavour is a nice balance of roasted coffee bean, black coffee, a fair bit of milk chocolate which makes me wonder if lactose was added; good mild fudge presence with an earthy bitter bite on the backend. Good balance, although the coffee ends up being covered a bit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy, smooth and very enjoyable. A delicious RI coffee stout that holds up with anything I've come across locally.

L - Black pour with one-finger, thick, coffee colored head. Really nice lacing. Some ruby tinge at the end.
S - Light coffee smell, slight stout smell but a good mix.
T - Nice coffee taste.
F - Medium to full mouthfeel that goes down easy.
O - Liked this beer. No overpowering smell or taste. Well done.

Very dark beer with a thick tan head. Smells strongly of roasted coffee of course. The flavor is great. Thick and creamy in both flavor and texture, but there is a bitterness.

Review from BA Mag Issue #119 ( Dec 2016 )
Roasty, Bitter, Caffeinated, Brawny
Big and robust, White Electric never wavers from its roastiness. Revival makes good use of coffee, there’s more than enough flavor from the beans to hold up in this massive Stout. It’s bitter and aggressive, smooth and creamy. A big beer with sweetness kept to a minimum. There are some contrasting elements here that have melded quite well together. Meanwhile, the roasted character just keeps hammering away sip after sip. A very enjoyable beer, but not for timid palates. [Jason]
