Pours a solid black with a thin tan head...leaves a fair bit of lacing. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Tastes of coffee. Rich malty mouthfeel. Very nice.

Strikes a nice balance. Strong coffee with a bit of vanilla? Tad bit of a creamy feel but the carbonation overwhelms that. Very drinkable.

Not a bad stout at all. I might get it again if it see it at a good price.

A - Black body with a medium tan head leaves little lacing, but never completely fades.
S - Powerful nose of coffee, chocolate and roast malts.
T - Overwhelming attack of coffee, sweet malt, chocolate.
M - Thick, paints the palate. Low carb. Lingers and doesn't leave.
O - This is a fine coffee stout, but the coffee is very strong. Be warned.

On nitro.

A: dark brown in color; 1 finger dark tan head that receded to a thick cap; sheets of lacing;

S: freshly ground coffee beans;

T: coffee with a little cream; a hint of dark chocolate; mild bitterness on the finish;

M: medium bodied; light, creamy carbonation; very dry finish;

O: if you like coffee with cream, this is your beer;

Served in a snifter glass on draft here at the British Beer Company in Cape Cod, MA.

Appearance: Thin black body with medium bubbles at best to the body. Head is a light tan color, rises to maybe a finger's length.

Smell: Light milk and espresso.

Taste: Light coffee and mocha, has a bit of sweet notes to it. Could be a little more potent but no real complaints.

Mouth: Medium body with a light to medium carbonation, slightly sticky.

Overall: Not a bad brew. Worth definitely trying but there are better coffee infused stouts out there. Needs a bit tweaking. Salud.

Sampling a cellar temp 12 oz bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a dark chocolate brown color with foamy tan head of 1 cm rising up after the pour and fading to a sturdy edge layer that clings after each sip.
Aroma is heavy with coffee grounds and roasted malt, very much like a cup of coffee. Maybe a little nutty scent buried in the nose too.
First sip reveals an average body with fine tingly carbonation and a silky texture.
The beer is easy to drink on the physical side of things.
Flavor is roasted malt and coffee grinds with just a little bit of booze on the finish. But a lingering roast malt and coffee dominates this beer. I will buy more of this one as I found it very enjoyable, a little more thickness on the body is the only big improvement in my opinion.
