Cloudy orange yellow, good head with curtains of lace

Bready smell, with some citrus

Fresh orange rind, grapefruit, biscuity base, and pine bite in the finsh

Medium-thick mouthfeel

Solid brew here, enjoyed it.

From an undated 16 oz. can. Sampled on September 7, 2018.

The pour is a light amber-orange tone with a fog but not a pulpy, hazy look. Huge, long lasting foamy white head.

I didn't get the typical NEIPA characters on the nose such as citrus, fruit, or tropical notes. I might have gotten a little bit of pine. I also picked up some cooked barley grain characters.

Medium, smooth body.

The taste is not very exciting either. Mostly a cooked barley sweetness with a mild bitter finish. Not dated so it might have been a malt bomb in the making.

From a 16-oz. can, purchased from the brewery today, poured moderately into a 16-oz. mug produced a thin and short lived white head with a little lacing. The mug was clean at end of drink.
Color is a hazy translucent yellow/amber that just gets brighter when held up to light.
Smell features resiny hops and toasted malt, a little bready yeast is also present.
Taste follows however the malt is sweeter in the middle and the hops are more floral, fresh and piney. There is a light spicy aftertaste, alcohol is well hidden.
Medium-light body with average carbonation, well supported in the middle with a clean dry finish.
Fresh taste and well balanced, not as orange/hazy or murky as some beers that state "New England IPA" on the label.

Picked-up a single can at Cedarville Wine and Spirits for three dollars and twenty cents. No canned-on date. Had heard of, but never tried beer from these guys. A malty mess, not sure if wad old, or just off?

On tap at Craft Table and Bar in Boston, MA.

This one pours a clear reddish-amber- this doesn't look at all like a NE-style IPA.

This smells like booze, oxidized crystal malt, caramel, and piney hops.

This just straight up doesn't work. It's extremely malty, and doesn't taste basically anything like the style should be like. There's only bitter hops, and grapefruit peel, and the aforementioned oxidized crystal malt feel that just tastes bad.

This is medium bodied, with a normal level of carbonation, and no drinkability.

This is a major fail on Revival's part. Basically everything needs to be revamped here.
