This brew is our entry into the new era of New England IPAs. Unfiltered, with tons of flaked barley, we’ve added 3 times the Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic, and Azacca hops at flame-out and then dry-hopped it 3 times on top. Is this juicy? Yes. Is there mouthfeel? Yes. Is this overkill? Probably, it’s Revival.

From a 16oz can dated 10/23/20 into a tulip glass.
Pours an opaque deep orange color with about one and a half fingers of white head. Ok retention, decent lacing.
Smells almost exclusively of oranges, mandarins and tangerines.
Taste follows the nose to a tee. Very juicy-like drinking juice, quite frankly. Bitterness is nearly undetectable.
Very soft, wet mouthfeel. Slight juicy aftertaste. Medium carbonation.
If you're looking for an exclusively juicy IPA, this is the one. Could stand to have some bitterness (especially at 65 IBUs) on the back end, but if they were aiming for juicy, this is a bullseye.

Hazy orange brew, with strong head production and OK retention. Translucent, lacking the pulpiness of some NE IPAs, but a very attractive beer.
Dry hop shows through on the nose, with a wonderful blend of citrus and tropical fruit tones: grapefruit, lemon, mango, pineapple, papaya, and peach, along with herbal notes of basil, oregano, and mint.
More bitter and West Coast style on the palate, with grapefruit peel and caramel malt showing through. Plenty of modern representation of the hops, however, with papaya, mango, and peach accompanying the citrus tones.
Lively and active; very nice feel, on par for a 6.5% IPA, but lacking the creaminess and softness of a NE IPA.
A delicious IPA, I don't quite get what makes this a NE IPA in any respect.

From an undated 16 oz. can. Sampled on September 7, 2018.
The pour is a light amber-orange tone with a fog but not a pulpy, hazy look. Huge, long lasting foamy white head.
I didn't get the typical NEIPA characters on the nose such as citrus, fruit, or tropical notes. I might have gotten a little bit of pine. I also picked up some cooked barley grain characters.
Medium, smooth body.
The taste is not very exciting either. Mostly a cooked barley sweetness with a mild bitter finish. Not dated so it might have been a malt bomb in the making.

From a 16-oz. can, purchased from the brewery today, poured moderately into a 16-oz. mug produced a thin and short lived white head with a little lacing. The mug was clean at end of drink.
Color is a hazy translucent yellow/amber that just gets brighter when held up to light.
Smell features resiny hops and toasted malt, a little bready yeast is also present.
Taste follows however the malt is sweeter in the middle and the hops are more floral, fresh and piney. There is a light spicy aftertaste, alcohol is well hidden.
Medium-light body with average carbonation, well supported in the middle with a clean dry finish.
Fresh taste and well balanced, not as orange/hazy or murky as some beers that state "New England IPA" on the label.

Picked-up a single can at Cedarville Wine and Spirits for three dollars and twenty cents. No canned-on date. Had heard of, but never tried beer from these guys. A malty mess, not sure if wad old, or just off?
