New NEIPA at least from a NE brewery this time... canned 5/23/17

Pours a decent fluffy almost 1 finger head that fades at a med pace, some sticky lacing, a somewhat hazy a touch murky and lots of yeast sediment floating.

Nose lots of dank citrus, musty passion fruit, generic tropical citrus, a little pineapple and maybe papaya, some citrus, tangerine, a little lemony clementine, flash of grapefruit pith and orange rind, a little grassy and floral, plenty of creamy malts,

Taste brings creamy malt base, a little toasty like malt as well, then hops, lots of citrus and tropical notes, plenty of pineapple, some mango and papaya, a little musty passion fruit, some dankness, a little melon rind, underripe mango, some citrus clementine green-ish orange and grapefruit pith, a bit juicy but not as much as others, a touch of alcohol. Finishes with a bit more bitterness, more orange rind, mango skin, a bit of pith.

Mouth is med bod, decent carb, fairly creamy.

Overall not bad, better than many of the other NEIPA options out there, but still not up at the top tier. Still a decent version with nice hop profile. I need to try this a lot fresher too as this is already a month and a half old.

Bought on 5-5-2017 - Can labeled as born on 4-18-17 - 16oz can poured into an English pub glass

L - Beautiful hazy gold in color, fluffy 1 finger head that dissipates very quickly and intermittently laces the glass as it goes down.

S - Big tropical nose, pineapple and citrus with a whiff of malt

T - Overt orange up front that transitions into deep mango and citrus, incredibly light bready malt on the back end.

F - Medium bodied lightly carbonated

O - Wow, I'm impressed. This beer is easily on par with Night Shift and Aeronaut. Aside from busting this beers review cherry here on BA I'm honestly quite enthralled by the flavor profile. This beer had big shoes to fill by the brewer labeling as a New England India Pale Ale but it certainly does not disappoint. This beer is also surprisingly affordable, I bought the 4 pack of pints for $11.99, certainly a break from the premiumized norm of $14+ for a 4 pack.

Many thanks to SawDog505 for this can.

A - Hazy orange pour, thin white lacing ring, no visible carbonation.

S - Subdued citrus juice.

T - Citrus, some grapefruit, lingering citrus/pine bitterness.

M - Medium body.

O - This was a tough beer to peg on the flavor side.

This surprisingly easy to drink IPA has quickly become my go-to beer for an afterwork pounder. They sell them in 16oz cans, my favorite. This beer has a wonderful hop aroma without that intimidating West Coast 'gonna fear the next sip' IPA bitterness. Unlike many IPAs after each gulp I'm looking forward to the next.

Cheers Revival, you did it again!

p.s. The first one was White Electric. When you gonna can that up??

16 oz. Can "thirstysomethings" 6/16/17 on bottom. Opened 7/2/17

A cloudy orange gold. Lots of life, dense, compact creamy white foam cap.

A massive hoppy nose, well rounded, with spicy earth, citrus, zingy fruits, pineapple and Lemmon zest...very dry hopped aroma. Delightfully bold.

The hops are obviously the focal point, and they are very complex. They seem to change flavor and mutate with every sip. The first sip lets off a juicy citrus bite, zesty and fruity and then it becomes a bit more earthy toned, herbal and then bitter, dry grasses, back to zippy citrus. The New England style IPA has brought forth another dimension in complexity of hop flavor the IPA. The juicy mouthfeel aspect is another must have detail in this style, and this one delivers that big time.

Light, zippy and juicy mouthfeel, dry, bitter bite, middle is a bit more medI'm but finishing juicy again with subtle dry moments.

The flaked barley malt is felt as well as tasted and brings out an almost perfect, oats and dry wheat touch that allows all of the hop flavor's to shine but brings in it's own, slightly sweet and full flavor aspects. An aftertaste of light tropical fruits and malt meld together amazingly well. The flavor really goes on and on after you swallow!.

There are soooo many wonderful New England IPA's on the market right now...setting the bar very high. This one is a contender for the upper echelon of the style.

16 oz can shared among friends.

A: Very slightly hazy body. Nice yellow burnished gold color. Good small white head.

S: cantaloupe, honeydew, light grass, some peach.

T: lots of honeydew grass slight honey taste and a little mango

M: lighter to medium bodied decent carbonation. Smooth easy drinking.

O: this is a great beer I was expecting a haze bomb this wasn't it. The taste in this beer was citra hops at its finest.

P- Poured from a 16 oz can, into a Cigar City spiegelau IPA glass.Date on the can is 06/05/2017.

L- Frothy white colored head that stands 2 finger widths tall, with good retention and light lacing.Slightly hazy colored body with medium clarity, and distorted light showing through.Very heavy amount of carbonation, with little to no sediment.

S- On the nose I get fruit notes of peach, cantaloupe, pineapple, and lemon, balanced by hints of sweet bready malt.

T- On the palate I get pineapple and peach up front, bready malts in the middle, and some bitter grapefruit on the back end.Nice fruit and hop profile, with a good bitter backbone.

F- The mouth feel is slightly sticky and chalky, with a moderate amount of oxidation on the tongue.Dry on the finish, with good drinkability.

O- This is a nice juicy IPA,that is readily available at the local Craft Beer Cellar.Nice juicy fruit hops, with a good bitterness to it.Very nice on the nose and the palate, plus its drinkable.I will drink this one again, and recommend it to all the hop heads.

On tap at Craft Table and Bar in Boston, MA.

This one pours a clear reddish-amber- this doesn't look at all like a NE-style IPA.

This smells like booze, oxidized crystal malt, caramel, and piney hops.

This just straight up doesn't work. It's extremely malty, and doesn't taste basically anything like the style should be like. There's only bitter hops, and grapefruit peel, and the aforementioned oxidized crystal malt feel that just tastes bad.

This is medium bodied, with a normal level of carbonation, and no drinkability.

This is a major fail on Revival's part. Basically everything needs to be revamped here.

While I’ve enjoyed their beers in the past this was was a major fail. Drank from a can, days after it was packaged . Hyped as “fresh juice” in the IG Page, this was flavorless and bitter and tastes like an onion. Maybe a bad batch, but this is Undrinkable.

On-tap 4/21/2017 at Doherty’s Ale House in Warwick, RI, served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large foamy off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains floral hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and caramel. Then a strong but not over-powering floral hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Very tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid IPA to pound down for a long time.
