This is g good looking and pleasant tasting beer. It's a good summer drink and a much better alternative to something you could pick up from a convenience store.

This is solid. Not as bitter as many Pilsners and seems to be more a more refined lager

A local friend had moved to take a job in Charleston, SC before moving back up north into NJ, but he frequently returns to the southeast and knows to bring back beer for The CANQuest (tm) for me. It is always appreciated!

From the CAN: "Chase the Rabbit!"; "Bohemian Style Lager"; "This is a Bohemian style pilsner that is packed with flavor. Golden in color, this beer comes through with slightly sweet and biscuity malt notes. We used some noble type hops to bitter than put our twist on it with some Northwest Ameri[CAN] hops at the end to deliver a slightly citrusy nose. We hope you find this beer not only sessionable, but very refreshing after a long hard day."; "evercan Recyclable forever, keep it going."

I Crack!ed it open, revealing a brimful craft CAN. I was getting a little bit of foaming through the vent, so I went with a gentle Glug to keep things under CANtrol. I still raised a finger of foamy, eggshell-white head with moderate retention as a result. Color was Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 -5) with NE-quality clarity and the Gelt Gang of Croesus, Mammon & Midas stopped by for a taste. I was more interested in all of the CO2 bubbles that were evident in the glass. Nose had a definite grassiness from the Noble hops and the citrus hops lent it more of a lemony scent than grapefruit. I was put in mind of lemongrass, actually. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, big for the style and indicative of its carbonation. The taste was definitely of a Czech Pils, very fresh, clean, hop-forward and underlain by a biscuit maltiness. It was very grassy with just a hint of bitterness and I CAN see it being a great beer to relax with after a long day. Finish was also long, lingering with a pleasantly dry lemongrass flavor. I would recommend this with Vietnamese or Thai food or just putting in the cooler on a hot summer's day.
