Rabbit’s Reserve #1 released November 2011 and then again in 2012. A silky porter brewed with dark roasted malts and dark cocoa nibs for a perfect balance of sweet and bitter.

Smooth, medium body with medium carbonation.
Near black body with a bubbly beige head that has poor retention.
Moderate strength but an exceptionally clear chocolate aspect in the finish. Slight sour note.
Medium body and carbonation.
Overall: chocolaty.

Poured from 32 oz crowler into snifter.
A: Dark black with 2-3 finger dense tan head with crazy long retention and leaving lots of lacing.
S: Cocoa powder, vanilla, and light bourbon. Aroma is a little subtle and restrained.
T: Dark cocoa nibs, roasted malts with a touch of vanilla, bourbon, and oak.
M: Medium body with a silky smooth and creamy mouthfeel.
O: Very nice chocolate porter. Easy drinking with an excellent flavor profile.
