L - orange-golden, hazy, with a maaaasiiivve foam head. Truly a belgian ale.
S & T - immediate crispness with a clean, almost rainy, grassy pilsner hoppiness. Light bready malt. Sliiiightly tart apples, as it still has a hefty dose of honey sweetness. Slightly boozy, vaguely cognaccy.
F - Drying on the lips. Medium body. Somewhat boozy.

O - not much of a tripel fan, so I was kinda dreading this one. Turnt out to be pleasant enough. No artificial banana candy flavor that I often get with belgians, but still quite sweet.

So if you're a sweettooth (unlike me), I'd recommend this one.

Orange haze with a golden hue and a big frothy head. Foam sinks slowly but keeps the surface covered and leaves pretty lacing. Full nose of pilsener malt, orange, sour apples, pepper and coriander. Taste is mildly sweet in the mouth and dry bittersour in the swallowing. I tasted orange, yeast, malt, pepper and lime flavours. The beer has a spicy aftertaste that lingers quite well. Mouth feel is full-bodied yet surprisingly smooth and gentle for a 9 abv. Its alcohol is deviously well hidden. Definitely worth a try, this tripel.

Pours a lovely hazy golden body topped with a MAHOOOSIVE foamy head, something of a halve maan brewery speciality.

Aroma is fresh and floral, and really invites you in, has a La Chouffe hoppy scent to it.

Taste is slightly overpowered by the abv, but you do get a nice toffee malt swirling your trap, urging you for another quaff.

Aftertaste is very much alcohol based, and warming on the gullet.

Overall a truly cracking beer, and nothing in it between this and the Quad in my opinion.

A: pours a hazy, golden amber color, with an off-white (beige leaning) creamy head with decent retention
S: sweet caramel and bready notes are the first things to manifest, with some pleasant, peachy and (white) grape notes coming through as well, some subtle pepper comes out as the beer sits
T: dry, sweet, and bready right off, with a pleasant white grape note and a clean-neutral bitterness bringing up the rear, the (caramel leaning) malt body with light fruit is very nice
M: very dry
O: A very solid and tasty beer, nice and enjoyable, full but crisp and refreshing.

This Hendrik is a delicious, solid abbey triple: full and yet supple, soft malt light sweet and spicy hop and little pepper absolutely no punishment to drink

11.2 oz bottle poured into goblet.
A: pours a golden orange body, fine frothy bubble white foam head, spotty lacing, fine carbonation
S: slight boozy, pepper, spicy, banana, malt
M: medium heavy body with semi dry finish
T: Banana, clove, white pepper, malty and creamy, slight boozy as it warms, molasses
O: good brew, didn't pick up on the candied sugar like I thought I would, nice creamy feel.
