Pours a slightly hazy orangish yellow golden color with white head. Yeast, hay, citrus, grass, and some bready notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with citrus and yeasty notes.

750ml, caged and corked bottle - isn't this the brewery that recently installed a pipeline between their brewing facility and the packaging plant?

This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with three fat-ass fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and fizzy bone-white head, which leaves some streaky dissipating fog bank lace around the glass as it slowly sinks away.

It smells of semi-sweet, grainy pale malt, a lesser cereal wheatiness, clover honey, free-range candy sugar, clove/coriander spice, earthy yeast, a mixed bowl of banana and orange fruitiness, and a mere suggestion of perfumed floral hop bitters. The taste is bready and doughy pale/caramel malt, simple syrup, crusty honey, muddled dirty spice, a retreating phenolic yeastiness, still well blended domestic orchard fruity notes, and some very subtle leafy, earthy, and floral hoppiness.

The bubbles are fairly intense in their somewhat palate-coating frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and mostly smooth, with a bit of yeasty, spicy, and boozy interlopers joking around just a little too wildly. It finishes off-dry, but not as much as one might have been expecting - there's a drying trend gaining some momentum here.

Overall, this is certainly one very well-rendered version of the style, lots of big and varied sugary components up front, and then a finish that does just enough to tantalize you with its 'come try me again' bitterness. Yeah, I can see why they would go through the trouble of piping this stuff out to the world at a higher pace than their old-school, historic center operation could have sustained.

From bottle, pours a hazey copper colour with a big white fluffy head that disapates to a good finger. Aroma sweet, malt biscuit, candy sugar, light banana. Taste pretty much reflects the nose. ABV well hidden.
