On tap at the brewery taproom in Brevard.

Red-amber body with high clarity and a good head that leaves excellent lacing.

About average hoppiness for style in both the aroma and the flavor, yet the medium malts still manage to show, providing nice caramel notes and with fait bread and some sweetness to counter the bitterness, Mild-moderate bitterness. Notably more hoppy and piney than OB's Pinner IPA.

Medium body with lively, medium+ carbonation.

Overall: a very well balanced IPA\Irish red hybrid. Partially hidden alcohol.

16 OZ can, dated as "canned on 6/17/15", which puts it at exactly 3 months old. Pours a light amber color, with a lot of head that is beige. Standard hoppy aroma: good. Very nicely balanced flavor: can taste the both the malt and the hops, with a little alcohol burn as it goes down.

I really enjoyed this beer. I could hardly tell it had an ABV of 8.7, which made it very drinkable. I bought this as a single (for $1.50), and, if the price is right, I would be happy to buy it and drink it again.

F syrupy feel but not sweet taste
O not real hoppy but nice finish.
