Very similar to Fugli but with a bit more omph.

Strong nose of tropical fruit with a lingering dank resin.

Sweet on first taste with strong pineapple followed by reasonable bitterness

Nice look for this Colorado IPA, a clear blonde with a nice white head. This beer is not a punch in the face but is quite balance. Nice malt sweetness with some hops, mostly on the lemon. It tastes somehow like a tarte au citron meringuée. Nice carbonation. Nice sessionable stuff

T - pine, citrus (pink grapefruit), mango/tropical fruits, bready backbone; bittersweet finish

M - medium body, high carbonation, oily

O - just a nice hoppy, fruity IPA

Very little aroma on this one - not surprising, most of the Oskar Blues brews focus on the malt and bittering hops than aroma hops. Not a West IPA for sure - the taste is very earthy, malty, sticky with lots of herbal hops. Most of the Oskar Blues have a heavy feel to them. This one pours light which was surprising cuz the taste has lots of caramel and malty flavors going on. A nice midwestern style IPA for sure. If you are a OB fan then give this one a look.

A bright gold color with a two finger white head. Plenty of lace.
Citrus and pine aroma. Sweet malt.
Grapefruit and pine taste. Caramel background.
Nice IPA.

12oz canned on 06/15/17. Served in pint glass. Beer is brassy golden with perfect clarity and a nice thick pillowy foam. Mild to medium floral hop aroma. Flavor is assertive and straddles the line between juicy and piny. This could be a great go-to IPA. Or maybe it would be if Oskar Blues wasn't typically so overpriced in most places I've seen it. An updated take on classic American IPA proportions
