On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, pine needles and tomcat. Medium dry and refreshing flavour, with distinct grapefruity and piney hops throughout, ending in a solid bitterness.

July 22nd, 2016 - Apparently Oskar Blues cans stuff beyond the traditional Mama's and Dale's, but the all blue can immediately caught my eye. As an IPA it's quite tasty, with a fruit forward aroma, and a drier body. Good carbonation scrubs the tongue after each sip, and allows the re-introduction of a dry hop profile over and over again. Not as iconic as their other mainline offerings, but very drinkable.

12 oz can from Brewers Haven. Finally getting around to this. This is another case where it probably was the shit when it came out, but has since been surpassed. Pretty standard all the way through, classic IPA. Here's to the trailblazers!

Poured from a can into a tulip.
Pours a pleasant hazy-gold with an excellent pillowy head and solid lacing.
The aromas are mixed and light but every note is recognizable. Grapefruit, mango, papaya, pineapple. Hints of resin and grass.
The brew has a nice well-balanced mixture of caramel malt sweetness, tropical fruit and present but not bracing hop bitterness.
A nice medium body mixes with good carbonation.
Tasty but not a standout, this one is still worthy of a try.

Canned 9/10/15; drank 9/26/15 @ the Yarchives.
See-through pale yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE bright white head; frothy lace.
Lemon & fresh flower notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Lemon & fresh flower flavors up front; mild orange citrus & soda water bite on the finish.
Refreshing.

Clear gold, with a creamy white head. Good retention and lacing.
Notes of grapefruit peel, orange zest, lemon peel, pineapple, honeydew melon, cracker, and grass. Clean, crisp, and lightly dry with a touch of lingering grapefruit and lemon peel bitterness on the finish.
A solid IPA, but this one is a bit old. I'll change the ratings if I find a fresher can.
