12oz can poured into a snifter.

A: Dull golden color with a haze that is uniform and opaque, but stops well short of being pea soup. Fine-bubbled white head with sticky, thin lacing webs.

S: Orange zest, apricot, mango, peach, pineapple, candied lemon. Highly tropical and juicy in aroma. Sweet bud nuggets. Maybe a faint whiff of garden herbs. Light toast and cracker malt base.

T: Star fruit, melon rind, lemon peel, big orange zest pull, pineapple. Mild leafy and earthy hop tones too. Cut grass. Mild bitterness. Malt base starts with a quick pound cake sort of sweetness, but goes a bit crackery in the end. As a whole, the beer ends up on the medium-dry side. Finishes relatively quick and dry with an earthy bitterness.

M: Medium bodied. Soft creaminess and a bit of fluff, but also good and stiff carbonation and a sense of crispness. Some enamel-gripping hop astringency.

O: It's a pretty solid brew. Great nose that pops, and the relative dryness and crispness elevates drinkability to a good extent. That said, I don't feel this will meet "hazeboi" expectations. Those people want swamp water haze, uber tropical and fruity flavors that dominate, and a sweeter overall inclination. This is a more refined brew that has better balance and a lot more drinkability though, and I can get behind that.

12oz canned 5-23-19 (opened 7-3-19).
Hazy, yellow-gold with a 1/2" head that falls quickly to a solid cap with a thick white ring. Patchy lace.
Papaya, guava, ripe (almost overripe) tropical fruits. Typical hazy, raw and yeasty aroma underneath.
Zesty peach, raw yeast. It's not bad but I feel would be so much better without that yeasty edge I get out of hazy IPA's. I'm not sure if that's just me or not but I get turned off by that when it's an overwhelming part of the flavor/aroma.
Medium to full body with low to medium carbonation. Full mouthfeel and drier finish than expected.
It's ok, I had 3 cans and I know I enjoyed 1 of them way better than the other 2...less yeast in the can or a delicate pour by me that decanted the yeast? Not sure. It's got potential in my opinion but as is it's not for me.

Hazy fluorescent orange color with a inch of white head that leaves just a little lace. Tropical fruit, citrus and cannabis in both the aroma and taste. Taste is solid....nothing off at all. Mouth feel is medium bodied, lightly carbonated...slightly dry. Overall, this is a very solid IPA and quite a bargain at $9.99 a six pack!

Packaged about 2 weeks ago, so it's pretty much prime time for this beer. 'Hazy so hot right now' on the bottom of the can.

This one looks great - Golden and opaque.

Smells strongly of citrus and melon, with something else I can't quite pick out. Certainly not the weed that others have mentioned.

Taste follows the smell, and I think the thing I couldn't pick out is wine-y white grape, probably from the Hallertau Blanc. It's an impressive blend of flavors that finish almost more tart than bitter.

The mouthfeel is just as impressive - the body is a little lighter than other Hazy IPAs I've tasted recently, and the carbonation is very fine, making it very easy to drink.

That said, this one is in the danger zone. Refreshing, not too heavy, and...7.2%. Following with my Hazy Little Thing review, I sometimes ignore the bigger, more-distributed breweries in favor of smaller upstarts, but this one approaches perfection on the bitter end of hazy IPAs.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy, 90% opaque, pale light orange color with an SRM of 7.5. (4.25)

Aroma: Strong aromas of peach, stonefruit, pineapple, orange, and tropical melon. Lots of peach here. Some citrus/pineapple to back it up. (4.25)

Flavor: Flavor follows with lots of astringent peach/stonefruit. This is followed by a strong strawberry pineapple flavor. Then it finishes into a distinct melon (but not berry) sweetness on the end. Finishes sort of sweet as expected. (4.25)

Feel: Medium-bodied, Sort of creamy, but actually I think the astringency makes it quite crisp. Not too creamy, but only hints of it. Finishes with a sort of OJ astringency on the end. (3.75)

Compared to SN Hazy Little Thing 8/23/20: Pours a lighter color. Stronger aromas. More peach/stonefruit and juicy citrus on the aroma. Less resinous orange nectar, pine, and soap. Stronger aromas/flavors overall. Winner: Can-O-Bliss is more true to style.

Overall: Quite impressed at how they did this one. As others have said it has great stonefruit flavors. The appearance is spot on. Strong aromas and flavors overall. Juicy as it should be. The mouthfeel is a bit crisp, but otherwise good. One of the better and more impressive macro hazies on the market. Incredibly flavorful! This one is worth buying again. (Final Rating: 4.20)
*Worth comparing to Pseudosue probably*

Another one straight out of a can so the look...I'll say it looked fine and dandy. Had some serious carbonation so I'd say it would have poured a nice big head. Plenty of notes in the nose (through the little opening lol) but earthy vibe of plant matter, cantaloupe, pine cone and a touch of the tropics. Those notes are followed up but some dissipation of strength in them. Yes some tropics, hops and melon but not very complex on the palate. Decent enough drink but in comparison to other hazy NEIPA, it's not much to crow over.

Tasted in a goblet from draft at The Vine on June 22, 2019. Looks unfiltered but lacks the haze and body of a true New England style. It does have some very nice stone fruit notes.

I see what they did there.

Pours only slightly hazy. Thin foaming. Dank aroma, but it makes you work for it. There's some of that sticky resiny stuff on the palate, but it's mellow and muted. Not as bold or in your face as I had hoped for.

Reimagining the Can-O-Bliss series as a New England styled hazy IPA, the brewers at Oskar Blues reach for the complex hop blend of Enigma, Cashmere, Strata, Eureka and Hallertau Blanc hops for promises of peach, stone fruit and melon to take the taste of haze mainstream.

Slightly more hazy on gold than with the Tropical version, the Hazy Can-O-Bliss version comes with the same with an amber depth and with the opaque appearance and a creamy off white froth to appease the eye while a tease of tropical fruit, lcitrus, candied stone fruit and a potpourri all-things-fruit punch once more. A rich maltiness of honey and sugar cookie come with a rounded smoothness of pastry and shortbread to brace against the flavor of hops.

But the story is about the hops as the burst of tropical fruit impressions overtake the patient malts for a candied fruit taste of mango, papaya, pineapple, peach, apricot and cantaloup and a hint of dates. A show of red grapefruit and oranges bring a citrusy set of complexities with a late palate fueled by a smooth bitterness of chive, spruce and cedar.

Medium bodied and trending slightly drier and moderately light in bitterness, a refreshing and highly drinkable taste of fruit cocktail comes with a spike of botanical gin, fresh spruce and gentle spicy resins for a final taste of peach and apricot that extend into a medium long aftertaste.

On-tap in Meridian ID. Served in a chalice.

A: Hazy straw-gold with a decently creamy white head that laces well.

S: Hoppy and fruity, juicy; stone fruit and tropical fruit; complimentary underlying malt presence lends to the sweetness.

T: Fresh hops; blood orange & rind; pink grapefruit and tropical fruit.

MF: Smooth with a clean finish.

O: This is a winner, I enjoy this one more than the other Can-O-Bliss offering I tried a few months ago.

Canned 7/11/19. "Hazy Nights". Pours a hazy golden hue with blonde highlights and fluffy head. More pine than citrus in the nose. Strong hop punch on the tongue, with a touch of melon and peach. I have honestly never had beers made with the hops used in this. It burns a little going down, evoking old-school IPAs from the other coast. It's still fairly fresh and well worth the $9.99.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/2/2019. Pours fairly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, strawberry, gooseberry, coconut, white grape, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, strawberry, gooseberry, coconut, white grape, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, strawberry, gooseberry, coconut, white grape, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.2%. Overall this is an excellent hazy IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft and not aggressive. Great Strata, Cashmere, Enigma, Hallertau Blanc, & Eureka profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively well made style example as expected.

Poured from a can into a tulip--back to back with the "original" Can O' Bliss Tropical IPA

Pours a line-straddling hazy cloudy apricot gold with a modest head, but a nice skein of foam and a fine ring of lacing for the duration.

Aromas of white and red grapefruit, peach, mango, and pineapple greet the nose, along with honey-kissed crakery malt.

The brew has a honey-sweet malt backbone on the tip of the tongue followed by juicy fruity flavors of orange, ruby red grapefruit, white grape, mango, honeydew, peach, and apricot in midstream. A faintly grassy finish with white pepper and a hint of booze.

The brew is solidly medium and sweeter than its brother. Not sticky, but not dry either.

Overall, a nice NEIPA that sits just on the "other side" of the NEIPA/IPA line from its "Can O Bliss" tropical IPA cousin.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 7/22/19. Pours a dark yellow orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves a spotty wall of lace as it slowly settles with excellent retention. 4

Smell is tangerine garlic, onion, pineapple, mango, and grapefruit rind. 4

Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, more carbonation than most in this style, sticky and slightly dry, and at 7.2% ABV loaded with flavor and extremely drinkable. 4

Overall I have been loving this sauce, it has that old school garlic/onion flavor to go with all the tropical flavors and at $10.49 a 6 pack my wallet approves. All 3 in the series have really impressed, but this one is my favorite. Summit hops I believe gives it the garlic/onion hit? 4
