Mama's Little Yella Pils - Our upcoming new canned good is a small-batch version of the beer that made Pilsen, Czechoslovakia famous. Mama's is made with hearty amounts of pale malt, German specialty malts, and a blend of traditional (Saaz) and 21st century Bavarian hops. Our first canned lager, it's also fermented at cool temperatures with a German yeast.
This tasteful reality Czech is the perfect antidote for the watered-down versions of pilsner clogging Americaâ's shelves. And Mama's gentle hopping (about 35 IBUs) and low ABV (just 5.3%) mean we're finally honoring consumer requests for a delicious but less-challenging beer. (Hey, we like a good low-dose session beer, too.) Look for our Gold Metal Winner on US shelves in March.
Sadly, the Feds rejected our Take Two and Call Us in the Morning line on the can.

Poured a nice straw color, with a creamy whispy white head that reduced to a lace clinging to the sides of my glass.
Aroma is slighlty flowery, tiny bit of earthiness to it
taste clean, somewhat malty, and beer like.
light bodied lager beer that is a crisp, refreshing, easy drinking beer. What a great example of the style. A terrific session beer IMHO.
These guys put out some amazing beers, and in cans no less!!
Get some kick back and enjoy, you won't be disappointed.

Bright gold color with a respectable and lasting white head.
The aroma is light biscuits and floral hops.
The taste is also light, mildly sweet biscuits with a dry finish and some nice hops balance..
The body is light/medium, nice carbonation level, smooth and very easy to drink.
Altogether, this is a very nice Pilsner type brew, refreshing, tasty, very nice warm weather cooler or session beer, anytime.

Nice take on pilsner. This beer is easy to drink. The flavor is a little too much malt / cracker for my liking at the start, but it gets better as you go. Nice peppery finish. I love the mouthfeel and great look, although I am drinking a lot of them from the can. Tastes great on a hot summer day.

12oz canned 11-2-22
On the pour 2 fingers of bone white head that slowly dissipates and becomes rocky. Deep gold body with medium carbonation.
Aroma is lightly hoppy with some American character as opposed to all noble hops. A nice clean, light, and sweet grainy lager character is present.
Taste is a tally very nice. A soft bready biscuity malt is present throughout woth some nice light floral American and noble hops with a small bitter kick on the finish.
Feel is both crisp and full woth a decent body from some nice light malts, but a quick relatively dry finish that makes this quite enjoyable.
Overall at first it comes off as average, but it quickly proves me wrong with a solid pils character and feel.

This beer pours a very clear, golden/amber color, with a large white head The head retention is very good. The aroma is fresh and malty, although a bit vague. It has a malty, sweet taste, with yeasty bread undertones.

From a mixed 15pk, canned 7/12/22, so 3 months old.
Clear gold, with moderate white head.
Smell is lightly-sweet bready grain, with some floral & fruity aromas.
Taste is similar to aroma, but less sweet, and with the fruity element less noticeable. Light pepper+coriander spiciness comes in near finish, lingering awhile. Light bitterness.
Feel is light-medium, slightly juicy, with moderate carbonation tingle, and lingering drying finish. Brief watery feel, just before finish.
This showed up briefly, a few years ago, before quickly disappearing, so glad to have it again. Not anywhere near a favorite in the style, but still enjoyable, & (almost ;) ) infinitely drinkable.
