Alcohol by volume (ABV): 12.00%

Notes / Commercial Description:
Irish Coffee is a continuation of the Regular Coffee game. Our golden imperial coffee cream ale has been finished on Irish wood and peppermint. Much like Regular Coffee looks to evoke an amusing version of the acidic bitter coffee curbed by milk and sugar that starts a day in a paper cup, Irish Coffee addresses it on the other end of the day. A beer rendition of a mug of coffee touched by Irish and whipped cream with a drizzle of green crème de menthe to tie up a big meal. Drink Irish Coffee to take it all home.

12oz can, sample from the brewery.

Bright golden color, thin lacing that stays around. Smells and tastes like some form of mint cordial, incredibly smooth and creamy. Kiss of wood and a mild maltiness that holds things together. Very warming and slightly sweet. Beers like this are way too much fun, share with friends because most likely if they are not a beer geek like you their mind might be more blown that you can imagine ... mine is.

This beer was the smash of the Extreme Beer Fest for me. I can't get it out of my mind... it's that good. I'm going to have to drive to NJ to get my hands on it if they ever release it on can. It's that good.

How can a 13% CREAM ale be so incredibly smooth? Fantastic mint flavors. This is my first ever "5 across the board" beer and it deserves the accolade.

Wow, hard to wrap your head around the look and the taste of this beer. It pours a typical if a little dark cream ale but the smell and even more so the taste is exactly Irish cream coffee. Superb flavors, with excellent creme de menthe tying it all together, get some if you can.

12oz can, canned on 1/1/16

A- pours a hazy Amber-orange color with some floaties moving around, small foamy white head reduces to a ring around the edge

S- aroma brings an interesting mix of coffee, fresh mint leaves, vanilla cream, nutmeg, milk & wet wood, very nice

T- opens up with a creamy milky sweetness, followed by notes of nutmeg & caramel, the mid-palate brings the refreshing mint flavor, leading to a finish of herbal coffee, with a linger of wet oak and alcohol

M- medium-thick body with low carbonation leads to a slightly foamy mouthfeel that continued into a warming, slightly boozy finish

O- a unique concoction that pairs the ingredients quite well, I much prefer this to Regular Coffee

Slightly bitter, peppermint taste and aroma. Carb faded quickly, this gets more mellow as it warms. All in all, I think it goes Churro > reg coffee > Irish coffee, but still a nice night cap
