Notes: 077XX is our double IPA focused on harmonizing the extremes inherent in the nature of an American double IPA for long-term drinkability. 077-19148 is the dubviant tuned up with a third Citra exclusive dry hop inspired by the places that get it in Philadelphia. Citra's fraternalisms to 0'Dub's mix of dank resins and tropical fruit aromas big-ups notes from the gooseberry, passion fruit, lime family. Drink 077-19148 when in city, brother.

I really like all of the Carton 077xx but being a citra lover to me this is one of there best. Nice and clear (no haze) with just enough bitterness. Next time buy more.

Reviewed four days after canning. Poured into Carton O'Dub glass. It pours a hazy, golden-amber color with an enormous, fluffy bright white head with long retention and significant lacing. A rather subdued nose with lemon, grapefruit, cracker, and floral hops. The taste opens with lots of bitter, biting Citra hops, along with tart lemon, bitter grapefruit, cracker, and just a hint of sweet caramel malt, which becomes more prevalent as the glass warms. It's as bitter a Dubviant as I've tasted, in a good way. The feel is classic O'Dub: pleasant carbonation and a punchy 7.8% ABV. Overall, this is awfully good. At a time dominated by fruity NE IPAs, 18148 displays a smash-mouth Jersey attitude. It's another great Dubviant!

a) Sticky, clear, lacey.
s) Bigger than most odubs: dank, fruit, berry, grass.
t) more hemp on the way. Follows smell but juicy and supported on caramel malt base.
f) Mid, but extra tongue tickle. Finishes clean, dry.
o) A favorite 077- and I think we need to collect them to blind taste them to calibrate.

Canned 5/24/18 (25 days ago)

L - 1 finger dense white head atop a translucent yellow body.

S - grapefruit, pine, herb. Classic ipa nose.

T - dank grapefruit and orange. Caramel. Pine. Resin. A touch of booze. Moderate bitterness. Moderate sweetness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - strikes me as more West Coast than East. Sweet, boozy, and bitter.

N: Hops, pine, citrus, and some sweet fruit notes.
M: Follows the nose, love the pine hit with sweetness balanced on finish.
M: Medium
O: Loved this beer, just a killer DIPA
